I hear ya loud and clear. You can't see that Jesus is the head ---------------------------------"stone of the corner".
Not the "headstone" ------------------------------------------- of the corner.

isnt the proper context here though?

colossians 1:14-20"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven."

Teaching that he is the capstone is pointing to His importance in the plan, as do the rest of scriptures. its the message of Jesus being the most important " stone" Hes only called a stone to convey the message to man who understood building things. so Jesus is taught as the capstone, the cornerstone both stones are important But Jesus is all. He is called " thje stone the builders rejected" because it carries the message that the messiah was rejected and then became the highest most important One. the most important stone. He is the builder, the stone, the Son of God, " through whom and for whom and by who were all things created and IN Him all things hold together

Psalm 118:22
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

Here are some clues that speak of who the Stone is, who is become the headstone…..

Isaiah 28:16 “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste."

Notice below the same stone which the builders earlier rejected, the same stone is become the head stone of the corner.

Matthew 21:42

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Did you catch that?????? The stone which the builders rejected is the same head stone of the corner.

Sorry if this goes against your false belief that the headstone of the corner is a "tombstone". ROFL!!!!! :)

Head (pointing to his importance) cornerstone (pointing to his title). Chief (pointing to his importance) cornerstone (pointing to his title). Do you know of any verses that refer to Jesus as the headstone? There are tons of verses that call him the corner stone but none that I know of that call him the headstone.

The cornerstone is the stone in a foundation that all measurements for a building are taken from. A headstone is the marker at the head of a grave.

Zechariah 4:7 KJV
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying , Grace, grace unto it.

He shall bring forth the HEADSTONE of what?

I'm not rolling the floor laughing at you, I'm praying that God will open your eyes and let you see the truth. I'm going to try once again to help show you the truth of that verse.

Zechariah 4:7 KJV
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying , Grace, grace unto it.

Zerubbabel caused the great mountain to become a plain. Zerubbabel brings forth the headstone (grave marker) of the great mountain, the mountain is dead, it is laid low. Zerubbabel bringing forth the tombstone of the great mountain shouts grace, grace to the mountain.

Christ caused the mountain of keeping the law to become a plain, he abolished the law.
Christ brought forth the tombstone of law keeping.
Christ brought grace to the law.

Ephesians 2:15 KJV
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Zechariah 4:7 KJV
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying , Grace, grace unto it.

He shall bring forth the HEADSTONE of what?

Now to Zechariah 4:7-10 [SUP]“[/SUP]Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone (H68+H7222) thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.[SUP]8 [/SUP]Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,[SUP]9 [/SUP]The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house;

Good luck with that quest..........

Zerubbabel caused the great mountain to become a plain. Zerubbabel brings forth the headstone (grave marker) of the great mountain, the mountain is dead, it is laid low. Zerubbabel bringing forth the tombstone of the great mountain shouts grace, grace to the mountain.

So he kills the great mountain and gives it a "tombstone" and then he gives the dead mountain grace? ROFL!!!!! You are stumbling around in the dark friend, see if you can get some oil for that lamp so you can see, because you are stumbling at understanding the words of God.

1 Peter 2:7-8 “Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,[SUP]8 [/SUP]And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.”

There is no house mentioned in that verse, that verse stands alone.

Now to Zechariah 4:7-9 [SUP]“[/SUP]Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone (H68+H7222) thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.[SUP]8 [/SUP]Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,[SUP]9 [/SUP]The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house;

Give me your version of the verse... break it down like I did.

But all things point to Jesus, the Christ.

Change subjects here, the mountain is no longer being talked about. MOREOVER the word of the Lord came unto me, saying.....

Why are you tying to add a completely different subject that has nothing to do with the previous subject to verse 7?

[8] Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
[9] The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.

What do you think, is Jesus the head "corner stone" or is he the "headstone" of the corner?

Yes Jesus said himself He is the light the way to God through Jesus is the salvation of the Lord... IMO this would certainly point to Jesus as the head stone.. In Psalm 118 there are afew messages within it, over all a confirmation of Jesus blood line through David. But the stone mentioned in psalm 118 is David who became King David the head stone of Israel. In the verse that mentions (and the bees swarmed him) is a symbolic statement he used the bee as a example for the bees are master builders of their hives complex structures like the big civilizations around the Israelites. In the verse that says a stone rejected by the builders is referring to what was happening around the Israelites. We know historically that the story of Israel during this entire period of time from the Exodus onward is the story of a tiny nation sandwiched between the two great ancient civilizations, Egypt and Mesopotamia (which was ruled at various times by the Assyrians, Babylonians or Persians). When David takes the throne, Egypt and Assyria are both on a significant decline. And Israel is allowed to expand Thus David is able to subdue, at long last in which David gives credit to God for that in the prayer song against the Philistine threat and to conquer the remaining Canaanite city, state, Jerusalem, that the Israelites have thus far not been able to conquer. Ironically the Jewish people the Pharisees reject Jesus as their king also. So indeed quite afew confirmations statements in psalm 118.. There are more than one symbolic meanings to the stone in the bible than one, the bible says believers become a living stone for the believer in Jesus the chief stone head stone cornerstone is part of the temple of God the rock stone, Jesus head stone, Holy Spirit stone, human soul living stone, Rather the stones are place at the corners of a temple or lined up stacked upon the stones all are connected to the other...

But the stone mentioned in psalm 118 is David who became King David the head stone of Israel

Here is another confused one. Do you guys even read all the scriptures I posted in the OP confirming what is being said?

Jesus and the apostles confirmed who that stone was whom the builders rejected in Psalm 118:22

From the OP---->>>>>
Acts 4:10-11 “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. [SUP]11 [/SUP]This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner."

Why are you tying to add a completely different subject that has nothing to do with the previous subject to verse 7?

Why are you ignoring all the context and the scriptures I provided before and after that single verse in the OP? Instead you go and try to inject your own spin about "the law" being given a "tombstone" and a "dead mountain" being given grace to it, which is nothing but total nonsense based on your own wild imagination. :)

I just read the bible for what it says.

I stated that psalm 118 is a confirmation of Jesus blood line, but it is also true that just because the word stone is use in psalm 118 doesn't mean it's use in that chapter is the same meaning in another chapter in the bible..

The bees swarming statement is a insight on who David was speaking of the builders the large civilizations around the Israelites
Words can be use to represent different thoughts. Yes the other verses you used is confirmation too as well as the living stone statement in the bible. David was calling himself a stone which he was a living stone God was pleased who became king. Jesus blood line is through David is still there Jesus was who as well is king of the Jews. It is best to look at the whole chapter message because just saying yea here in psalm is referring to Jesus is correct but that leaves out the context of David rising to the kind of Israel as well as how he used the word builders in his song...
