It is an established fact that the Universal Church is a cult. The RCC by definition is a cult.

While merging denominations has been impossible thru the years, merging cults isn't.

It is a well-known fact when any religion "says" they believe the same thing, & then changes all the definitions, THAT RELIGION IS A CULT.

How does that reflect upon Jesus when He said, "You have understood certain things to mean thus-and-such... BUT I give you this 'new' (truer and more accurate) definition of what those words mean."?

Martin Luther was a "cult leader" to the established Catholic Church at the time. When Luther said "The just shall live by faith". The established church doctrine of his day said - you are a heretic and are changing the definitions of what we believe for over 1,100 years.

That is the way of the religious mindset and the heretic hunter mindset.

There are lot's of self-proclaimed heretic hunters on the internet. To them everyone is a heretic who doesn't believe exactly the same things that "they" do..

There are websites dedicated to the heretic Billy Graham. Billy Sunday, Charles Spurgeon, Charles Stanley, D.L. Moody, C.S. Lewis, John McArthur, Paul Washer, Joseph Prince, Bill Johnson, Martin Luther, John Calvin....Andrew Wommack...etc..basically anyone who is known has a website dedicated to their "heresies".

There are even websites dedicated to the heretic apostle Paul because his epistles "conflict" with some of Jesus' words.

Basically these self-proclaimed heretic hunters have a beef about some thing with what someone else believes and so they are now "heretics".

Their motto is: "If people don't believe some scriptures in the way that "they" do - they are heretics and they try to prove it with "their" version of what the scriptures say.."
This is not what we were taught in "my" church or in our whole church tradition.

It's the nature of the beast. Martin Luther was a heretic to the catholic church at the time because for 1100 years prior to Luther they had always "believed" the same way.

Where these types cross the line is when they turn a disagreement that they have with someone doctrinally on a secondary issue and turn it into "So and so is a false teacher and a heretic/satanist/controlled by a demon" type stuff.

Sadly, it is often very difficult for Religious people to listen to Jesus, truly HEAR Him, and follow His teaching rather than the "rules" they have been taught.

Simple. He didn't create a "'new' (truer and more accurate) definition." He summed up the whole law in less words. He brought back something by stopping people from changing the definition. Nor did he say what you quoted him as saying.

It doesn't. Jesus stated the Father's intention of the Law, which is true.

YES. Just what many are trying to do today. Much of our modern religion has almost brought man's perversion of God's word, full swing, again approaching the rigidity of Judaism.

If you continue your name-calling, I'm gonna report you.

Actually, that was exactly His message, many times......... "You have fouled it up to be saying "this", but it never meant that. THIS other was the meaning."

Uh..... "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, Slave nor Free, Male nor Female"?
Says the free male gentile. lol

Gal. 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

So how is that inclusive or exclusive?

Heads up. When you put quote marks around something someone said, it's supposed to be what that person said. Not how you interpret the words. It's fine to interpret, but don't use direct quotes then.

Now, some bull-headed people here, I would expect to miss, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. as inclusivity.... but not you.

I see you are still pondering the question of how many angels will fit on the head of a pin. LOL

Let's try to be a little civil, please, for there are some chomping at the bits to get this thread stopped. Thank you:)

So all people are no longer Jews nor Greeks, slave nor free, and male nor female? He included all and always meant to?

Continued from [h=1]The “Grace Teachers” Lead Us Toward A Global Understanding of Salvation[/h]by PHILLIP on SEPTEMBER 30, 2013,

Radical grace teaching demands a universal application of the Gospel!
I will begin by highlighting the grace teacher Paul Ellis of Escape to Reality blog and author of The Gospel in Ten Words. His is the book I have enjoyed most recently and which gave me the most clarity on how this grace message is being presented in the popular sphere. Even though I disagree with his conclusion that “not all are saved” and that “universalism steals motivation” I was tremendously encouraged and strengthened by his beautiful treatise on the Father’s never-ending love and grace. It is an insightful and refreshing movement toward true grace. We would simply like to see him take it all the way. Indeed the cry for a pure unadulterated Gospel has no option but for it to be taken all the way. And here are a few reasons why…
These “radical grace” teachers lead us toward the paradigm of universal restoration in the way in which they offer us sweeping statements of grace without the necessary qualifications.
