WELS Lutheran (including school, K-12) until about 25.
I've ventured off onto other denominational paths over the years, but usually keep one foot grounded at a Lutheran church.
I tend to miss the traditional services, since that's what I grew up in, and I get a craving to hear and sing many of the old-time hymns.

That was a huge part of my Lutheran school "education"--learning whom we approved of, and whom we did not.
The Lutheran church I'm currently attending has open communion, which kind of messes with my head since we studied all the 95 reasons why communion should be closed... But the pastor gives really good sermons, and I've felt more at peace there than at the other churches I've tried so far since moving here.
As I grow older, part of what I'm trying to figure out is exactly which parts of doctrine are really worth going to war with other denominations over.
I also sent a Christmas card to one of my childhood pastors this year, thanking him for the Scriptural foundation he helped give me when I was in middle school.

Honestly, worship is what initially brought me to liturgical Churches and it remains the reason why I stay.
And you know! I have yet to really study worship to be able to justify my thoughts on a thoroughly Biblical basis- ie what worship is best. As of now, I chalk it all up to Christian liberty and how God will convey his revealed truths to people through different musical means. With all the personalities and souls that exist.
Ah, but there is something so beautiful about an order that orients the mind to the essential truths every Sunday and includes the sermon itself within the context of the worship service.
I can honestly say that I stand in awe of Him every Sunday with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. And I'm recharged to do so throughout the week.
No service on the Lord's Day has ever seemed to serve such a purpose.
