It was a promise if and only if they complied with His commandments. They have FAILED to do so and so this promise is null and void

the logical conclusion of what tooldtocare (then why bother to post an opinion) states, is that one must earn one's salvation also by obedience
I don't think some people think through what they post since their own arguments cancel out what they espouse

They are not citizens of Israel, they are guests/immigrants accepted by Israel. Just as those here in the US who are not citizens can not vote........uh, er, well, unless the socialist liberals can slip them in that is.
The State of Israel is a Jewish State, and it's reference to democracy is that those who lead the State are elected by the people of Israel. Not for nothing, but given how the leaders of the rest of the Middle Eastern countries attain power, I kinda like how Israel does it.

what about Ezek 37 where he says even after all those things, God will again give life to the dead bones, and bring them back again, And be there God and they will be his people. In the land God gave the fathers?
or the many other OT prophets who claim Isreal will be defeated, scattered due to her unbelief, but at a time, she will repent and be restored?

No, that is not true. A Christian Palestinian is the same as any Christian, a non-Christian Palestinian can be,and are being saved. They are having visions of Jesus and are becoming born again. And that is wonderful because where they have come from,they are amazing witnesses for Christianity. None of that has anything to do with the land. The land belongs to the Jews both Biblically and historically.
