Romans 11:11-12 KJV
I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
[12] Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
I don't understand these two verses, it almost seems like they contradict each other.
In verse 11 - "Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid:...". This sounds like they did not fall.
Verse 12 - "Now if the fall of them....". This sounds like they fell. Any thoughts on this?

Have they offended (in killing Christ) so as to be cut off from Christ? God Forbid.
Rather, their offence has brought salvation to the nations.
Now if their offence is the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Nations; how much more their fulness?
