What bothers you---- Bored Christians---- how can we be bored---- got the Word, got prayer, got the Fire of the Holy Ghost..

Somethings which are discussed are not experienced or tested only discussed---- people who tithe and give offerings know its value---people who speak in tongues--- know its value.... People who perform miracles through the Spirit--- see the reality--- people who love others--- have the Spirits witness of its value---I person with an experience----is not at the mercy of someone with argument...Grace and Peace

Thank you for this thread. Have started to read the posts and only hope the younger esp. would take heed.. It is good to be back at cc... and i'm posting not because i'm wise. On the contrary, i've admitted how foolish ive been in many ways, and only hope you do not hurt yourself by making mistakes warned about in both Proverbs and Ecclesiastes esp.. Some see i often post in the health forums-- i hope you dont see this as bragging or showing off that i know a little here and there, but rather that you do not go through things you never foresaw because you were too young, idealistic, naive, simple or stiff necked-- that you go more smoothly in later life, physically, spiritually. I told a younger lady i wanted to write something on growing old based on Ecclesiastes (12), which i hope all have read, but it would be good to see specific verses for those who have time to post more. I just got in but dont think i can stay long. But here's saying thanks for all who strive to encourage others here, as well as correct those of us who have held on to 'wrong' facts or beliefs only to realize theres something wrong somewhere indeed and fix or adjust our eyes and ears to what is needed.

Take time to "stop and smell the roses". God made his creation for us to enjoy it. City folk, get out of the city for a while and be astounded by the wonder of God's creation. Country folk, don't get so used to the beauties around you that you pass them by without a thought. I just heard about a girl who very suddenly lost her eyesight. I bet right now all she is longing for is one last look at the blue sky; watching the wind rippling the water; gazing into the eyes of a loved one. Our senses are a beautiful gift, and we're not promised tomorrow. Never get too rushed to enjoy and give thanks for God's creation.

Forgiveness is like the sweet scent a violet leaves on the heel of the one who stepped on it... mark twain

The right thing to do is not always the easiest thing to do. Most times, it will not be the most popular thing to do. It will often put one at odds with friends/family/co-workers. It can be quite difficult, and cause hurt to ones self, to others one may love.

The right thing to do is always the right thing to do. However, it requires courage. Dare to do the right thing, apologies not required.
