More of a man answer, but vehicles can be a hobby too.

My advice is get a skill and in a few short years you can afford both.

Also, mooch off your parents. Since your dad is a gun enthusiast, it probably wouldn't take too much to convince him your armory needs an upgrade. ;)

Congratulations! You are now officially a woman. ^.^

Sadly, my gun resolution is to not spend any more money on guns. -_- Why do vehicles have to be so expensive?

Oh, I love vehicles. Jeeps specifically, and almost as much as guns. Also not a cheap hobby. But yes, that is the plan: buy a vehicle that will get me by through college, get a job, feed my gun and CJ infatuation. I have a 3-6 year plan, depending on which college I choose. Yes, I am obsessed with schedules.

My parents, unfortunately, do not have much to mooch off of. Otherwise only the good Lord knows what sort of toys I would have had by now.

I like my Subaru.

You may me feel like I should be on an all-soy diet and working for buzzfeed.

Civilian Jeep, what the more modern wrangler is modeled after.

I'm going to take that as a major compliment.

hubby and I are often amazed when we continually find out who is 'packing' at any age these days...

what is worrisome to us is that most don't have enough Faith, even when they buy,
much less use...

Man, that's all it took??

Someone once told me, "a car is more important than a gun." I looked at them and said, "Yeah? you can shoot a gun, but you're in big trouble if you shoot a car!" Sadly, they did not get the pun :( lol

Glock 19 is what I always have at my hip. If I'm just knocking around my property, have it open and out with a Glock 17 mag. If I'm going to the store, I slip the Glock 19 mag in and put a jacket on.

Obviously, that system has to change for the summer months or in situations that require I take a jacket off in mixed company. For that I have my Walther PPS. Love my system.

Before I met my wife I carried open . I had a ccw permit . I rarely carried concealed though. Not much need for a jacket in Phoenix so concealed caring is a bit of a pain for most pistols. Only thing I messed with was the ammo . Normally it was alternating black talons and full jacket rounds . I do still take a day out every month and go to the range and squeeze off 100 or so rounds .

I purchase all of my guns with a guy named T-Rex.

He's a small arms dealer.
