It sure would suck if you were damned to hell because you fell one good work short of salvation. That's why I give thanks to God for His saving grace in Jesus. You should try giving Him His due.
Amen, there is absolutely not one ounce of hope in a works based false gospel.......

Not by works of righteousness which we have done......
Not of works lest any man should boast.....

Are you so foolish...having begun in the spirit are you now made perfect by WORKS (flesh)

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.....<---clear as a bell.....

Faith + works to gain, keep or embellish salvation is a Gospel of a DIFFERENT KIND, which is NOT the same KIND..it has NO power to SAVE, and is double cursed......end of story Galatians chapters 1 and 3 are clear!

They almost always jump to that accusation and lie......NO ONE has said that, implied that, teaches that or has stated that....funny how many workers for salvation lie and by their own doctrine lose their salvation.
It is an interesting statement. I watched a video from one of the HG preachers and he dealt
with the natural reaction of his followers to assume they were not bound by anything.

And his argument was as a nice person you would respond to God nicely and do good things.
The only problem is one has admitted one is conquered by sin, and sin continually dominates,
and only by having Christ imputing His righteousness constantly is there any hope.

Low expectations lead to low delivery, funny that, how sin works like this.

Some of tshe people in this thread are either confused or just big fat liars.

We who believe Jesus Christ also believe Paul is inspired by Him. Paul teaches some believers believe they may conduct themselves in one manner in the saight of God with a clear conscince, therefore they are not in sin.

Others believe they may do so in anothr manner in the same conditions, and they are not in sin.

Therefor thsoe who decry brethren in Christ for wanting to obey Him as best possible, yet realizing they are only saved by grace, are in great error, and have put themselves up as judges of the brethren.

All who think it wrong to obey God are in error, and should not teach against obedience, for we are made childre of obedience who perform works of light.

This is not a debate from me, so nothing is to be contested herein, for what I post gives credance to the freedom we have all received from Jesus Christ to act in accordance with a good conscience in the sight of God. If you do this you are not in ssin. If you teach this is not correct you make yourself a judge.

Gdo bless all who are inJesus Christ and all who will come to Him, amen. Believe God........

The pharisees added to the law, and took away from the law. a lot of their law was, do as i say and not as i do. The law of God says do as I say, and do. But i see what you are saying.
Paul also said that OUTWARDLY he could not be convicted by anyone...and that he served GOD ignorantly.........his conversion was instant...........when he acknowledged JESUS as LORD on the way to Damascus......

He also writes GALATIANS......and clearly condemns faith + works to complete salvation........Galatians 1 and 3

Are you that foolish....having begun in the SPIRIT are you now made COMPLETE by works (flesh)

The bible I clear....It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to SAVE them that BELIEVE.....

NOT..It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe, are immersed, do many wonderful works, are a member of hickory stick church, back flip down the isle while singing amazing grace in tongues and drinking a bottle of bleach and casting out devils while foretelling the future......

The bolded--->the embellishments by the workers for salvation.....give or take a few obviously!

To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law.
1 Cor 9:21 (ESV)

Paul regarded himself under the law of Christ not the law of Moses.

The HG followers regard themselves lawless which is a sign of the enemy
of Christ himself.

I could care less about some video you watched by a no name preacher.....it has no bearing on the statement I made.....and both statements by UTAH and MYSELF stand....NO ONE has implied, taught or suggested we can live anyway we want to live and or do anything that we want to do....to accuse of that is a LIE...end of story!

dc - I am lying. Which point am I lying about?

Are you under the law of Christ?
Will Christs words be a testimony for or against you on the day of judgement?

I am happy to repent of a mistake, but I do not remember anyone holding that
there are any restrictions, because as they sin they are forgiven.

The simple disconnect is we are called to walk righteously, in purity, holiness and
love. And yes passion and desire are an issue, under which we need to exercise
self-control. But as Paul declares we do not sin in being married or abstaining.

Strangely from my perspective is accusing me of a doctrine of works.

I follow Gods word. My works of obedience are not mine but Christ working in me.
I would not be doing anything unless He had redeemed and changed me through His
glorious gospel of repentance and new life through the Cross.

I invite you to repent and join me in this celebration of victory over sin and death.

The following is a blanket statement which you have applied unto ALL who teach grace dia faith salvation....it is a blatant lie as NO ONE I KNOW who believes in grace dia faith teach, implies and or say such things........

Grace is given to everyone, believer and unbeliever alike. To say that we have to EARN it, is totally and absolutely false. And grace isn't earned by works, either. JMO

this question is asked way to muck. and no one ever gives an answer. you would think some of the lawyers who keep using that strawman would see this and question why no one can answer,

When one learns what obeying Him consissts of, then one may decry obedience.

For anyone to fautl a brother who knows he is saved only by the Blood of the Lamb and want to obey according to His teaching
, for anyone sto fault him demonstrates a lack of understanding first of the Godpel and second of the brother. I have read the posts and I do see faulting of obedience, no matter how it is mentioned. None who are joyous to obey God will work to detract from being children of obedience saved by grace only.

You should go back a read a little.....no one is doing the bolded in your statement.....funny thing....you in your post have become the very JUDGE you decry about......hilariously TRAGIC!

Why would I want to join you in your fallacy?....You cannot understand biblical salvation based upon faith and grace void of works......no thanks to your false gospel.....

Salvation stands alone, based upon faith into the FINISHED work of Christ....our works cannot, yea do not embellish, help and or keep one saved......sorry...Galatians, Jesus, Paul and even JAMES contradicts your religion of works.......

Those of the Brethren who b elieve in being children of obedien ce do not judge others to damnation, but we are instructed by our Masster to judge for ourselves what is right, otherwise He would view us as hypocrites.

We understand not only Who we are to obey, but what and why because we have learned from Him, from God.

If you are a brother in Christ and you do not yet understand this, wait while learning by hearing Jesus Christ and following the Holy Spirit, but do not speak prematurely, that is before understanding, agains anyone who wishes to obey Jesus Christ to the fullest, for this implies you are not opposed to deliberate disobedience and you are definitely putting your salvation in jeapardy.

If you do not know....so not make pronouncements agains those who do know.

This is my 16,055th post on this site....GO BACK and FIND ONE PLACE where I SAID to DISOBEY GOD or REJECT HIS WORD or to NOT BE OBEDIENT TO THE WORD.........

AND the fact that YOU SAY MY SALVATION IS IN "JEOPARDY" tells me ALL I NEED to know about what you erroneously BELIEVE....

SALVATION CANNOT BE LOST NOR CAN IT BE KEPT, GAINED or MAINTAINED by WORKS......YOU say you believe in GRACE yet your words BELIE a salvation MAINTAINED by YOUR OWN WORKS

THIS is a FALSE GOSPEL with NO POWER to save!

This is a problem of interpretation. I am commenting on those who follow HG theology.
Now I follow grace theology and being save through faith alone in Christ as part of repentance and
acceptance of the forgiveness of my sins in the cross.

I have been told constantly that I am a works preacher, and working for my salvation because I
believe in the moral law of God, or as Paul calls it, the law of Christ. Now if I am condemned as
anti-christ and evil, a works preacher for holding to scripture, then the only conclusion is those
who do not hold to this hold to lawlessness, being without law.

So please tell me how I have got things wrong, and then I will be corrected.

they keep using the strawman, but cant prove it,

It is like the LIE that we appose those who WANT to obey god. which is another lie they reject to admit to or to confess.. Then they blame shift.

Time to let them go on their way.
