As for the Space Race........NASA.......it is true Ike wanted the US to be involved, and got it off the ground, however, there is no doubt that the US Space Program was on life support until JFK gave it the much needed lift it required to become a viable Program.

I beg to differ with you - I have family who gave up a few years to go and serve in the Peace Corp in Africa and helped a lot of people there..... the world is bigger than just the US of A and it benefits all humanity to at least lend a helping hand to others.

whats so frustrating for me is that the media can get caught red handed in a lie and the left doesn't bat an eye. Like the fact the democrats paid that lady to lie about trump. But you'll latch onto and inconsequential fact like the number of people at the inauguration. I still don't trust the conventional wisdom on that.
I wish I could help you take the glasses off and see it for the Marxist propoganda machine that it is. These people called a ten year old a home school shooter ...and a future sexual assaulter. It's sickening to me that a Christian would defend these folks in the media for that reason alone...but there are many many many other examples that you simply refuse to consider.
It's so silly that some people on here make offensive statements about someone or a group of people (like what liberal women look like for example) but get upset when someone else, like a writer at SNL, does the same thing about Barron. They scream "crossing the line!" They have a sense of humor when they make "jokes" but suddenly lose it when it's done to someone they like. Trump/Hillary/Republicans/Democrats don't have a monopoly when it comes to hypocrisy.

No one said you disagreeing on substance (being against abortion) is wrong... in fact, most here agree it's wrong to do it... Tearing people down on their looks is entirely different than disagreeing with their position on abortion.

I completely agree. And I don't just agree because they are "children" either. Christ didn't command us to love and respect "women and children" only... He commanded us to love everyone. Saying it's wrong because one is a child and how it's acceptable because the person is an adult is indeed "warped morality".
The lady who said it was even smart enough to realize how incredibly abusive and wrong it was. Apparently our resident smoke blowers elevator is stopping a few floors short on this deal.

The ironic thing is that I have the same stance on this as Willie... He was the one who stood up and blasted this kind of behavior. He happens to be consistent. Much respect to Willie for that.
Maybe you should change your name from "smoke" to "twist." LOL Even though I never breathed a word about adults being ridiculed in that post, there is a WORLD of difference. I am insulted constantly, and I also lay it on heavy, but we are adults.... NOT developing children who can be utterly warped for years, maybe even, life by adults mocking them.
