My Daughter and I went to Disney on ice today. It was fun to watch. I like to see her face light up like it did today. Sometimes I get the crabby stubborn child so it's nice when the sweet child pays me a visit.

Today I found a nearby barbecue joint that serves beef brisket!

I know, I know, you folks in Texas are thinking "uh... so?" Hush. Up here in Tennessee pork barbecue is everywhere but it's hard to find a good beef brisket sandwich. It was delicious and I'm going to have to go there again soon. It might become my go-to for lunch.

AND they have homemade desserts. Bonus.

What if there was a bouncy-ball house of strategy, where people had to go through a mini golf-type course, with the goal to make it through "hoops?" I picture the diverse nature of X-games-esque skateboard parks, mixed with the consolidated nature of putt-putt. I also think of Spyro games, or most 90s racing games.

There would be a timer option. Of course (no pun intended), as you proceed, the hoops would change angles, obstacles, and even the pace at which they move. There would be different sizes for different skills, and different distance for xtra-challenge
I imagine the kind of glass that is used for indoor soccer or hockey. So people could watch, but they would not be pelted.

I would call it "Ballicade" (Ball-ih-KADE)
It is a reference to Barricade--
an improvised barrier erected across a street or other thoroughfare to prevent or delay the movement of opposing forces.
And an arcade.

I think this would take off as an alternative for parents for kids' parties.

This idea came to me when a kid was bouncing a ball off a restaurant's glass. :( .... :D

Sounds to me like a carnival game. I think I've seen your idea in a handy travel size.

I have new computer syndrome; I hate new computers and having to figure out how to customize them to be just the way you want. Because when all the stuff on the screen is too small it hurts my eyes.

Apple or PC? You can fix that by lowering the screen resolution (if u didn't already know). Usually just have to right-click on a blank part of the desktop, then choose Graphics or Personalize from the pop-up menu, and then find the screen resolution options.

Streams fell to #13 in the thread list. This is just wrong. It has been righted. All is now well with the Singles forum. ;)

Okay, there's still the dating advice threads... one thing at a time...

Ah yes, setting up a new computer. I'm a nerd so sometimes I break my system by fiddling with it. I set up a new computer system far too often.

Fortunately large capacity flash drives are cheaper than ever, so once I got my music computer set up just how I wanted it I resized the whole partition and cloned it over to a 64 gig stick. Now when I break something I can just clone back from the stick and resize to fill the HD.
