...give them my morning coffee? Uh, if that's what it takes, then I don't wanna be a Christian.

It is by coffee alone that I set my mind in motion.
It is by the juice of java that thoughts acquire speed; the teeth acquire stain; the stain becomes a warning.
It is by coffee alone that I set my mind in motion.
Have I told you how much I enjoy your dune references? They add spice to the forums.

Ah Willie, always liked you Willie, indeed you treated me okay when you knew me, though not so great when I came as posing a stranger. Nevertheless you seem a Christian and I will let you know indeed.
How have I treated you "not so great"? You've only been here one day.

Ah posthuman always so sharp witted as ever. And indeed you seem a Christian as you always treated me well despite our many disagreements over things of the secular nature. Though a good example that people can still be good to each other in Christ and still disagree on the lesser things of the world.

Why set a snare for me? What you have done to the stranger you have also done to me.
I don't think He was talking about the deceptor who, like the scribes and Pharisees, approached Him in the hopes of entrapping Him.

I'm fairly sure if one of your alter egos came here, deliberately acting the fool, I probably verbally kicked your donkey if your behavior warranted it. LOL

"The worm is the spice! The spice is the worm!"

And alas, that would be the only quote I can remember from the 1984 movie.

(I tried to read the book, but it was so confusing to me that I had to watch the movie for the visual cues of who--and what--everything was.)

That, and the image of Paul's little sister speaking in that demonic child-voice is something one doesn't get over easily.

I have no alter ego, only my own.

And nay, you are getting ahead of yourself again and failing to understand in the haste to condescend and lift yourself up before others. That was indeed the problem before.

That's okay though Willie I did not think you did such for a deep seated malice nor do I perceive this as such either. I think you simply failed to comprehend.

I'm not so sure. I take "Let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' to be 'No' " to also mean be who you are........ even if you do hope you can re-enter something, praying that who you were before will be overlooked and forgotten. What did you do or say that was so wrong that you now have to be on your third, fourth, or even more, re-invented persona?

Who said I hope to re-enter something? Getting ahead of yourself again.

Lol I think you are setting your snare quite too openly for me to fall therein.

Just treat me as a stranger Willie, it's okay, for that cause is the first part of why I cannot be prevented from coming to you all even if you try to prevent me, and for that matter even though part of me would prevent myself. For the second part to try to convince the hard hearted to bring back the sheep that they have scattered. Of which though if I be one, I will gladly sacrifice myself for them and depart if they be restored.

I don't think any of us should neglect to build an understanding of others that is not built upon an awareness of all that composes that person. I get the feeling that you either embarrassed yourself so badly, or maybe attracted such animosity that you either got banned, or ditched your old identification, and are returning here in the hopes of being seen as something other than who you are.

Was it THAT bad?

Heheheheheh, you're wrong again Willie, but really trying to bait the snare eh?

Eram quod es, eris quod som

Let me ask you though a question as you ask me many. What profit does your pride really gain in trying to lay low the sheep of Jesus?

I think you can track the status on Amazon, Kim?
...a confirmation that your membership has been sent out.

Once it arrives, tape it to your forehead so others will know too.
Funny thing, I was doing some browsing on Amazon today and I actually think they have a booklet about this very subject:

"101 Guilt-Inducing Steps to Determining Whether Or Not You're a Real Christian."

I wonder if it's available in a downloadable Kindle version (seriously... who would want to wait around for answers to such an important question.)

Ches... Maybe you could start your own thread about this... or better yet, take it to a PM?

My last couple threads were completely taken apart by personal debates... Which have a place, but perhaps in a separate arena. :)

You may have been what I am, since I am kind of a mess in a lot of ways, but I hope I am never what you are in this thread, if what I'm seeing here is an example.

Well maybe you will have a change of heart then and become bold and mighty for the Lord and for the brethren that have been set at naught. For truly what makes me also think you a Christian is how in times past you were quite robust in your determination to reach out and help my generation for Jesus' sake. I still remember the video from maybe a year or so ago of the dialogue between an old Christian, whom if I remember correctly you identified as a personal friend of yours, and one of my generation and it did touch me greatly
