Valentines Day is next Tuesday, my Husband asked me what I wanted. I said a hug. I don't know, aren't men supposed to just buy something without my input? I was going to get him some dark chocolate because he likes it. I'd like my mortgage and car paid off, but that's not realistic right now.

So what do you all want for Valentines Day?

Idk we hardly celebrated the day except when i was small, and suddenly i remembered this english folk song a sis sang those many yrs ago: You may click on the link to hear it play if not familiar.

****men are dumb at times---tell him to take you to that nice restaurant----or I really love roses...
 
My wife still likes receiving a dozen roses at work on Valentines Day. During the Super Bowl, Hy-Vee advertised a dozen roses at half price (and delivered) if you ordered them by the end of the next day. I did and what a savings! :)

I think I might just ask for some Blue Moon beer with an orange slice and Chinese food. No crowds!

Awwww, but this could be the year I get a Valentine poem from a secret admirer! Probably not though, but I can still hope. No cancelling Valentine's Day!

True but valentines day is also our anniversary so even if it was canceled it would still be a day of love for us

Lol it would be pretty nice. So any secret admirers out there, don't feel shy about confessing your deep infatuation or interest in me lol. Though I suppose at this point I can't be disappointed if it does not pan out that way. Can't miss what you never had I suppose lol.
