Its pretty funny that several people have said that my dog in my avatar picture looks like a guard dog. One person once said she looked mean. Well this little mutt has lots of heart but she really is a lap dog and pushes hubby and I to either edge of the bed as she happily takes the middle. Now she can lose her temper pretty fast,as my German Shepard pup found out.She rules the roost and is just a tad spoiled. So I changed my avatar to one where she is wearing a skirt. lol A little more lady like. But really shes a tomboy no matter how I try to make her presentable. So hopefully now she looks a little less threatening. :) Share your dog or cat pic or story,Id love to hear them!

Lol thanks, she has a way of growing on you. We call her our "pretty girl" when she's not wrestling in the mud with the Shepard that is.

I noticed your new avatar. Your German Shepherd will grow up and perhaps become the new ruler of the roost.

I hate ankle biters...
I own a lab/great dane mix, a wolf/coyote/rez mutt, and a pitbull...
The lab great dane's head is above 5'11'' when standing, the rez mutt which is still a pup comes up to my shoulders when standing, and the pitbull comes up to my waist....

Personally even the pitbull is like an ankle biter to me... I would never have rescued her, but my sister got her and pawned her off on me...

The smaller the dog, the more they bark and feel the need to act tough....

That is Ella. I found her at the town shelter..........actually she saw me and would not let me go.
She was unhealthy but little by little she became quite healthy, and now she has me fully
trained. I learn a lot about God from her, believe it or not.

She is a gift from our Father. God bles syou all...

Sorry, I will try to get the photo......

Small dogs are annoying. They're yappy, a tripping hazard, lol.. I like big dogs. German shepherds, labradors, etc..

The lady in my profile picture is Sophie, she's an 8 year old Border Collie mix. She doesn't scare anyone because she has sweet eyes and looks pathetic. She actually does that so if by any chance you have food you'll share with her.

¨When I brought her to her home three years ago she was so overweight tht she could not wag her tail. When she would lay down she could not curl up and her paws stuck straight out not touching the floor when she laid down on her side. She could not lay down any other way. At least two times she fell over absolutely still, and I truly thought she had died, but nope, and she is almost puppy-like now. She can jump, lay down, curl up, wag her tail, oh and she also can scratch herself like a normal little girl of her new up-gringing. It turns out she is not a mongrel as I had thought, nope, she is calle a Jack Russell........I also have a cat, sometimes called TC but her name is really Isca, short for Francisca a Valencian name.ñ

Kayla is well behaved, she's not your typical small dog. She was just there first so she's the dominant one. She actually disciplines the Shepard, its pretty funny.

'Gurad-Dog'? not really what we, hub and me, would call a 'girlie-girl' dog, but she is precious in skirt -
plus her intensity is paramount in the way she presents herself: adore me, but at a 'distance'...:eek:

we have a very entitled CAT, that has taught much about LIFE!?!?!?

Lol She's a good dog.We took her on a ten hour trip to FL and she slept the whole way pretty much. She likes going to Lowes and riding around in the cart.
