Nutjobs are everywhere. Dude's comments and your defense make it seem as though mainstream conservatives are proclaiming President Trump as the Messiah. You know damn well that's blasphemy. On another note, did the woman you quoted about no weapon shall prevail, post that picture along with her words? That's important to me to know.
you asked for quotes, and as your servant, i gave you quotes.

yes, that well-known gospel singer Vicki Yohe posted that meme.

I could literally say the same thing in reverse. Consider the fact that our current first lady is a nude centerfold model.
And everyone keep saying that Liberals are supporting gays.... what are we supposed to do to make them stop being gay?
Well. You also can't stop a runaway train,
But you should feed it more coal either...

Jim Baker in december hosted a pastor who calls Trump the Messiah, and who cites "rabbis" who believe he is either the anointed one or his forerunner.

oh - does this not speak for every Christian?

then maybe "
a few hollywood nutjobs" don't speak for every non-republican either.

Jim Baker???? Dont even get me started... A few Hollywood nut jobs?!! A few!? Seriously a few? Have you watched any of the last "pat myself on the back for doing absolutely nothing" awards? A few?! I think we need a recount of nuts, you're missing a few.

"nominal"

i can agree with that.

as in, "
in name only" when it is convenient for his advantage, but in truth, not one at all.

honestly i'd rather have someone who is honest about his (lack of) faith than one who lies, making merchandise of the gospel.
Give him time. Maybe he will figure out how to become perfect like you did.

The religious right acts like Trump is the messiah. It's actually kind of sad.
1. After Obama ANYBODY would have seemed like the Messiah.

2. We know he's not the Messiah, but he's our best chance of SAVING America!!

Probably because he doesn't think it's worth his time to even address it. He probably feels like there are more important issues then messing with the LGBT community. I would agree with him on that one
Hummm not what the link said, they think he's against them.

why would i watch anything like that?

this is sidetracking.

the point is that there is just as much evidence to accuse "liberals" of treating Obama as a messiah as there is to accuse "conservatives" of treating Trump in exactly the same way.

in both cases it is wrongly generalizing roughly half the country by the statements of outspoken fringe elements.

i would be equally in error to say "conservative opinions don't matter because they are blind pharisees" as i would be to say "liberal opinions don't matter because they are wicked charlatans"

secular politics poison our witness.
hope is not in a POTUS nor a national policy. hope is in Christ, and His kingdom is not of this world.

And I thank you for sharing as you have. I'm wondering if she posted a picture of Jesus as meaning she sees President Trump as the Messiah or if she was referring to Jesus as being the Weapon for the President in which no one shall prevail against him.

Um cause you said "a few Hollywood nut jobs" when Hollywood has gone whole hog to the liberal left. You dont have to watch the shows, watch or read the news after.

Quote "
hope is in Christ, and His kingdom is not of this world."

Id agree, partly,we have to live here until the Lord returns. Our forefathers fought and died to leave a legacy to us. We should do no less for the generations coming behind.Americans is what makes America great as they follow the Lords leading. The Lord will bless if we humble ourselves, turn from wicked ways and pray.

I guess I missed the part of the Bible where it says voting Republican is a prerequisite for being Christian

It didn't use to be.But the "progressives" have dragged the party so far left its like the end of the Roman empire.Gay parades, transgender bathrooms, woman wearing vaginas on their heads. If that screams Christian to you you need to give your head a shake.

I dont believe its wrong for a Christian to support some leftist ideas, I mean take care of the poor, definitely. Provide everyone with equal opportunities, absolutely But they should also be willing to speak out against what is wrong, and what the extreme "progressive" left is doing, too. If they are a Christian, they should have no fear in saying homosexuality is wrong. Or that abortion is wrong.

I often see Dudes argument, "how do you make them stop being gay?", I have debated with him on it many times : p Its not a real argument, its just deflection used to confuse others : p No one said make people stop being gay, merely to spread the warning and to not show support. He knows this too : p

I dont believe the right is a Godly path that can only do right. I believe both sides lead you wrong in one way or another.

But still, I cant agree that homosexuality and abortion are civil rights issues, I cant agree with an ideology that "if it doesnt hurt anyone, its acceptable". I cant agree with people who believe its racist to call a false prophet a false prophet.

Im all about helping the poor, giving opportunities to those who may not have had them, to help those who dont make enough money to provide for their families. I disagree with all the things I posted above, though.
