Hey how does everyone deal with the sex issue in relationships. I myself am waiting until marriage but most people I know dont understand why i feel this way. Many girls Ive liked in the past have also not understood. So my question is how do you date someone when you have this problem
 
The simple answer is you don't date at all. Just post on singles forums like this one about how single you are and can't find a date who won't have sex with you. Then when a nice girl in the same predicament feels sorry for you, she can send you her email and then you can have a wonderful internet dating experience between two different continents hahahahaha.
 
I'm waiting until marriage. I know of a few others who are, but most people I know aren't. It's very saddening to me.
 
I know. I was stating that it was saddening that so many throw it away. When/if I decide to marry, if shes not a virgin, "no way jose."

1st of this post had nothing to do about trying to make people feel sad for me. It was a honest question I had. I do not have an issue dating a non-virgin. Just in my experience most girls do understand how a guy could wait

It's a very sad, and unfortunate thing, that when men have morals and self-control, other people, often women included, will accuse them of being gay.

Guys, we're sorry people treat you like this and hang in there!!! Don't give up and know that some of us out here, yes, even women, very much appreciate that you stick following God's plan for your life.
 
I have noticed many woman today have so much burden placed upon them. From the world, from the people who call themselves the Church, from with similar attitudes I have had in the past. Sex is something that is physical, emotional, and spiritual. Most see the physical, some see the emotional, but very few connect the spiritual. I think If you can find someone who shares similar heart and persuing God in the same manner. these struggles will not be so much struggle. Accountability, and relationships are more than just Sex
 
I think women don't think men can wait because women have looser morals in general than men. Women can't bear the thought of a man being better at them in anything like that.
 
To some degree, I actually agree with the statement, "women have looser morals in general than men".

Magogany, Im going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this is your sarcastic streak. If it's not, im disappointed.

Why is there so much on this forum of men and women pulling down the opposite gender?

Sure we've all been hurt or broken by someone in our life, but please...lay the generalisations at the door before you post.

They may have "looser morals" but that doesn't mean they don't have values.

I, for one, "believe" I have stronger morals than my peers, male and female. But it's not my place to say they are immoral.

I've had to deal with this ever since high school, just because I wasn't sleeping with everything with the correct equipment. I'm still haveing to put up with that nonsense. There are days when I think I should find a girl to shack up with just to avoid such stupidity. Then I wake up and realize what a stupid idea it is. Even stupider than them thinking I'm gay.

I want to wait until I'm married, for two reasons...

1. God says so.

2. It simplifies things. Plus that is the fastest way to find out if the girl is interested in you or your body. (Aka. having a good time)

I have, and in many ways still am experiencing something smilar to what you stated.

I sometimes am asked, why I do not date in high school. My response to them is simple. I am not interested in anyone from this high school. On the side of things, I also do not want to have any ties to this town, and I would like to never have to come back after college.

This then leads some of the "alpha male" types to ask, "Have you ever kissed a girl?" My response sometimes gets mixed looks on their faces. "Does the cheeks of a grandmother count?"

I've only been accused of being homosexual for my take on this, once. It's a troubled kid though with many issues at home he has to deal with, so I don't blame him to try and cast out his emotional stress.
 
Not to reveal too much about my horrible past, but...

To say that women have looser morals is pretty, well, not true. When I used to drink men would try to get me to have sex with them all the time. A few even forced their intentions upon me even though I refused. Even after refusing some wouldn't leave me alone and tried to violate me. I dont think women do that on a regular basis like men do. A shocking percentage of rapes commited in this country are solely men. If we're talking sexual sin then thats also gotta go to the men. Porngraphy addiction is mostly a man's problem. Not sure about the numbers now but in the past many affairs were started by men.

Our boobs may hang out in public but a lot of the most hurtful sexual problems in America are caused by men. So I have to disagree with that. I think the media has a lot to do with our being sexual objects so we're looked at as "loose" but the people who initiate and instigate sexual problems are mostly men not women.
