I'm not a fan of mr. Rogers either because always thought he was just weird and creepy but to describe him as evil is some weapons-grade autism

lets see, cnn interviews there own cameraman on election night, cnn saying it was " illegal " to read the WikiLeaks about Hillary and the dems, now they are saying that the leakers are great, I could go on and on, but you can jump to youtube and find these 2 easily.

Imagine if Donald Trump (while in office) had approved the sale of 20% of all the United States uranium to Russian business interests ... and shortly thereafter, Melania Trump received a $500,000.00 cheque from these same business interests for "her charitable foundation" ... for a single speech ! And yet, these are the people accusing Trump of catering to the Russians. Trump has ZERO business interests with them. Owes them nothing ... has never borrowed from them. The lies and hypocrisy are astounding. You'd have to be blind not to see it. More and more I am convinced that separating the tares from the wheat does indeed include today's world of politics and what one chooses to stand for. Personal integrity and character cannot be separated from one's political views. This is a grand illusion of the left. And they will be judged for it.

I finally found it.

And I have to agree with Dude that this FOX person was very wrong in calling Mr. Rogers an "evil, evil man."

Rogers certainly inculcated the minds of children with the wrong message when he told them they were special. We are not "special" in this world simply because we exist. I think it was said more truthfully on "The Help" when the little girl was told "You is kind, you is smart, you is important." But we cannot call him evil for that misguided bit of encouragement.

However, it is probably true that many kids grew up thinking they were entitled to a lot of things (without earning them) because they were special people who the world should automatically recognize as more deserving than those who are not as special as them.

You have only to look around you to see that hardly ANYONE is "special"...... except to God.

I didn't watch the news conference. I am looking for results. When I see my children and grand children begin getting salary increases and/or better jobs, and my grand children who are entering the work force find good paying jobs, I'll call President Trump a successful president. Until then, I will pray that he succeeds.

I still prefer the little old lady down the road from my news. I get better news and the best weather reports from her than any other source. She also makes a mean cup of coffee and the best tea in the community.

Every child is special. Wouldn't it be great if every one of them were provided the opportunity to develop the gifts that God blessed them with.

But, instead, many schools just give them all "Smiley Faces" of graduation... whether or not they have actually had any of their 'gifts' developed. To me, this is setting our kids up to become the disillusioned crybabies we now see rioting in the streets because they didn't get the election handed to them as they all seem to feel they should have.

I wouldn't say "everything" the media has said about Trump is a lie, but a lot of it is deceitful. You have to admit that if Trump was fed questions to the debate it would have received so much attention in comparison to the "backlash" Hillary received for it, can't you?

The media has rightfully blasted Trump, and I've even joined in on it when he is in fact wrong... but I can admit the media has lied, is incredibly biased, and exaggerates true claims. The worst type of lie/deceit is when there is a grain of truth to it... it'll make more believers.

I can appreciate the skepticism you have about trusting politicians. I have the same with Trump but even more so for the media. Ironically, Trump has shown to be more trustworthy than the media as a whole (which isn't saying much if you think about it).

Yup, this is the part that really irritates me. Both sides using the leaks to their advantage but condemning them when it's not to their advantage. Both sides are guilty of this.

We should probably tell our kids that there's nothing special spectacular about them and they are just a mass of randomly assembled organic compounds....oh wait..... that's what atheists do....

I think we have to keep this in perspective.

Trump gets irritated, just like any of us would, when his private business is broadcast. But he does not call it illegal and worthy of prosecution. What has happened here is NOT the hacking of a bathroom server, nor the snagging of common email put out on the airwaves as the WikiLeaks were.

This is, instead, the subversive exposure of the deepest inner-workings of our federal government. These were not email hackings. This was what COULD have been treasonous turn-coating by people now directly working in the Intelligence Department, and openly telling secrets about their jobs.

Thank God, this time it amounted to very little. But what of the next time they decide to call a newspaper to try and make Trump look bad? It could well be that one of our own children in uniform could die because of it. (This is not some Democrat emailing a colleague that they don't like their boss.)

I will tell all children that they are capable and supported.... BUT that they are not just entitled to things they aren't willing to work for. We will just continue to breed another generation of whimpering Snowfakes if we keep on doing that to our kids.

For me when any politician goes out of his way to discredit all media except for one source, this is a red flag.... not sure why no one else sees this.

I'm sort of the opposite when it comes to this. It's a red flag when the media regurgitates everything a politician says as fact... See 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq and Bush, Obama and the Affordable Care Act, Hillary and... well everything...

I think this is where my healthy level of skepticism comes from for both the media and politicians.
