Your ugly comment reminds me of this racist MSNBC host[video=youtube;DfCy1nOVK9k]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfCy1nOVK9k[/video]:
In post#10,you should have stopped at "this women" and left off the part "other black Americans".

Fair enough. I used it merely as a descrptor, but I can see how in reading the text it could come across in a different way. Sorry about that.

The difference is that I actually recognize that enough to realize that while G-d had every right to send me to hell and kill me. He didn't. While judgement of wrongs is good. G-d is will to forgive instead of pass judgement.

As Christians, we should look to redeem and save people from judgement. If there's a way to redeem illegal immigrants we need to look for that and yes that even means forgiving debts... similar to how G-d did with us. Likewise, with refugees. Christians should look to redeem and save people, not pass judgement so eagerly.

P.S. - Roger...considering you say "For the cause of Christ" in ending your posts... you really should think hard about that... and those who have "sinned" (done wrong)..
There is no mercy in the law. If you wish to take her place and be deported instead then the law is satisfied. Even for the believer there are consequences for transgressions against the law. No eternal condemnation but consequences none the less.

If she is not held accountable and those who abet her are not held accountable then there is a complete breakdown of the law and civil order. If she gets saved then she will be deported as a saved undocumented alien.

It is never right to do a wrong to do a right.

To me this is like the children who murder their parents pleading with the court for mercy because they are orphans.

That is not true. There is "mercy" built into our Judicial System, and has been there from the beginning of our Judicial System. Ergo, the rest of your comment is rendered moot.

This "mercy" you say doesn't exist is best shown by the fact that varying levels of punishment can be handed down for the same crime. Sentencing allows for Judicial discretion AND mercy. As well, there is the mercy shown in our Judicial Systems recognition of a persons behavior which could allow them to be paroled earlier than their sentence states.

There is also the Judicial discretion exercised by the District Attorney as it applies to charging someone with a "lesser offense," and also by making "deals" with an accused for testimony against another suspect.

Many different examples of "mercy" that exist within our Judicial System.

Well for starters, I may just do that, take her place. That's how far we as Christians should go.

I'm not just talking about spiritual salvation. I'm talking about the Christian principle behind salvation. That principle is forgiveness and mercy.

If you want to talk about justice and law and you want to pass judgement, that's okay. First you should give up your salvation and prepare to suffer eternity in hell... pay for your costs to G-d and then I'll grant you that illegal immigrants should pay their costs to you.

^^ This is fair. Don't take my word for it... G-d has a story about this...

The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

Matthew 18:21-35

[SUP]21 [/SUP]Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.[SUP][g][/SUP]
[SUP]23 [/SUP]“Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. [SUP]24 [/SUP]As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold[SUP][h][/SUP] was brought to him. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]“At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ [SUP]27 [/SUP]The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]“But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins.[SUP][i][/SUP] He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]“His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’
[SUP]30 [/SUP]“But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. [SUP]31 [/SUP]When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.

[SUP]32 [/SUP]“Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. [SUP]33 [/SUP]Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ [SUP]34 [/SUP]In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
[SUP]35 [/SUP]“This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

I'm conservative and it is true, illegal immigration is wrong. But, so is your sin. Either you pay the costs of your sins... or you better look for a way to save/forgive those who trespassed you as best you can. This isn't about politics. This is about something between you and G-d.

Just for clarification. I only say, "you should pay for your sins by going to hell" only to make my point. I don't wish it on ya, but if you want to be fair and talk judgement... there's a sense to what I say. Fair is fair.

God forgives we who are in Christ; all others will be judged. I like the way you manipulate God's Word and His omnipotence to suit your political agendas.

There is indeed mercy built into our judicial system and thank God for that. However, we must not lose sight of the fact that our judicial system is the criminal justice system. Justice is not only important, it is of God. God is Just.

This isn't about my political ideas. I'm conservative.. except welfare, I'm "50/50"

It's not manipulation... it's literally just application of G-d's word. G-d didn't save everyone, likewise I doubt we can save all of them... But, G-d did try. Likewise, we should try to save illegal immigrants, refugees, and even criminals. We should look for ways to redeem them.. them paying fines are good... us paying their fines for them, now that's following Jesus.

Even with a warrant, the church does NOT have to give her up, or allow the po po entrance inside..

Was she compassionate about taking a job away from someone else for twenty years?
I don't know,I can't make that call but alas the law Is the law and If she Is breaking the law,she may have to suffer the consequences and I won't argue that point.

I recognize that the law keeps order In society and should not be bent for anyone because If It were to bend for anyone,It would not be fair for everyone.

Nevertheless, I feel sorry for those kids that may not be able to see their grandma everyday If she gets deported.

You can pay all the fines you want for them. Have at it.

I thank God He brought me into this life knowing His Truth and placing me in America. My heart goes out to people less fortunate than I am but we have laws that need respected; it's the foundation of any nation's sovereignty.
