Oh, lots of unemployed Black guys can try to brag about how good they have it, but they will be standing in the welfare line next week. What you see with your eyes often uncovers the falsehoods of bravado you hear with your ears.

That's not what it means.
What it does mean is that many blacks vote blindly for leftist liberals that are supposed to be their friends and " help them out ".

The truth is that the govt cannot help us. We can only help ourselves.
All the govt can do is get out of the way.

If it gives you something, they want your soul.
The govt has made slaves out of a segment of our population ( black and white ) and they take their vote
FOR GRANTED.

And has given nothing in return for those votes, and so, there is nothing to lose in trying someone different...

Black people aren't the only ones down there and just because black people were the ones calling for help as you say In post#57 doesn't mean that now Its time to accept help from someone that Is perceived as Insensitive,Immature and willing to deligitimize the first black President.

he is as much white as he is black. Why is it that you focus so much on the color of a mans skin?
 
I thought she did a good job, and, regardless of what motivated her to say the Prayer, I thought it was a good thing. It certainly served as an example to millions of Believers worldwide to see the First Lady of the US saying the Lord's Prayer at a Political event.

I agree. However, honesty requires that we also acknowledge that many whites blindly vote for Republicans that are suppose to be their friends, and help them out. There is no evidence to support that the Republicans in Congress have done anydarnthing to help out their supporters. Let us consider: Same sex marriage, Transsexual rights, Abortions, Freedom of Religion, Taxes, Illegal Aliens, Cost of Living, Healthcare...........as just a few examples where the Republicans have not done a darn thing. They can not even agree among THEMSELVES.

Yes and No. There are ways the Government can help us. Strengthen our Borders and properly defend them. Strengthen our National Defense by assuring the Military is the best trained and equipped Military in the world. Provide a level playing field for all Citizens to get an Education and a Job without discriminatory practices by Institutions of Higher Learning, and Employers. Provide common sense and fair guidelines to assure that all Citizens have the opportunity to get Health Care. Provide a "helping hand up" for Citizens who are honestly trying to better themselves, but not to create a multi-generational lifestyle for the poor.

All the govt can do is get out of the way.

I agree. Social Wealfare Programs have become the new "chains of slavery" in America. They enslave the poorest of our Citizens both Politically and Economically.

It is no secrete here that I did not support Trump for President, however he won the Election, so he is President, and only a fool would hope he fails. Apparently, there are millions of fools out there. I hope he is able to make a difference, and accomplish some good for all of us. However, I will not blindly support him. If he does something good, I will give him credit, but if he does something not good, I will point that out as well.

Blind support for ANY POLITICIAN is a deadly cancerous poison that will destroy our Country in my opinion. True support requires one to be HONEST and act with INTEGRITY, and demand the TRUTH from all Politicians! Trump included, and possibly foremost, as he is now President, and the Leader of our Country/Government.

Nope,he was saying after 8yrs of a black president promising hope and change you still live in the same housing,have the same job and live in the same violent inner cities you did 8yrs ago. So why not try something else other than the democratic plantations you're living on now?!

I'm not democrat but the records say former President Obama wasn't as bad as Trump says.
