Sure, and I do reckon they knew the world better than those today. After all God made the world, he can certainly destroy it as he wills. God knows best. Men today so often do not.
what God can do, and what He does do are two different things. The text does not say so the whole world as we know it. I believe the text. As for men of old knowing the world better then than they do today, That is nonsense.

How can anyone pinpoint when the flood was in prehistoric history? As in how do you know Civilization A and B were around at the exact same time, and nada? Nothing about a flood?

Also, wouldn't you kind of think the histories of ancient people would have been wiped out in the flood? I'm amazed with earlier in Genesis. Who knew that history to record it? Personally? My best guess is Noah took some scrolls with him, and all other scrolls before the flood were wiped out, just as any box of Wheaties would be wiped out if we tossed it into an oceanic jet stream. The waters themselves would first wash away the ink, and then lay waste to the parchment.
Well in terms of how Moses knew about the Flood and before it, have you considered that Moses walked and talked with God? Maybe God told Moses. God would probably know seeing as he created the earth and heavens and everything in them and also destroyed the world and every living thing in it by the Flood and also saved Noah.

i think its diffrent for half sister if there divorced.. when i say half sister i mean they dont dont share the same mum or father.. they share difrrent father and diffrent mothers.. meaning when the man and women got married they all ready had kids to defferent partners.. but when the mum and dad re married they became half sister and brother... that kind not the other..
lol it SAYS they shared the same parent :)

Sure, God can do anything, but doesn't mean he does just anything. The text says the world was destroyed by water in Genesis and Peter and even elsewhere. If you believe the text then that should not be so hard to comprehend that all the mountains were covered by water and every living thing on the face of the earth died just like it says.

Moses compiled Genesis from ancient records. That is clear from an examination of the narrative.

Who knows where it was built?

I think either way one could say God guided Noah.
Its quite agreed that the first civilization developed in that area, originated from North-east Africa and the rest of the world was populated by migration. There are also many evidences of the Flood in that area destroying the civilization there (Black sea).

Where does it say that in the Bible?

I see in the Bible that Moses walked with God. I don't see anything about Moses compiling Genesis from ancient records though.

Numbers 12:8

[SUP]8 [/SUP]With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

All the mountains under the whole Heaven meant as far as Noah could see, nothing more. They wrote of the world as they knew it.

The living things were restricted to all those on the face of the land, just as it says. It is your interpretation that is wrong :)

quoting my self here lol...;) I knows why its odd because you probably have the mentaliy that if its not written its not true.. but seing as the oldest recorded scripture of jesus is 150 years after christ than surely there is missing scripture.. i dont think you could remember word for word like the bible. and its millions of words.

Where does it say that in the Bible? I mean don't get me wrong, Noah could've been from that area, but heck, the area that Noah was from might still be underwater by that same token. Oh there's plenty of evidence a Flood wiped out a lot of the world. There's even sea shells on the top of Mount Everest.

The indications of ancient records in the narrative.
