We are both right. And do you know what the biggest issue is? We are alone.
Deep inside people feel abandoned, and alone, no one understands, no one can reach
them and it is all unfair. Almost everything springs from this loneliness and the hurt.
We defend the hurt and grab as much as we can before someone else does. And when
we have got it, we want to keep as much of it as we can and say, it is ours.
And do you know what the answer is? The cross and forgiveness. You and I are loved
by God, and it is this belief that we are alone and hurt which must be defended at all
costs that dooms us to hell. There is only one behaviour pattern that this spiritual reality
leads to and it is the destruction of others for our benefit, to make us feel more secure
and safe, until nothing is left. But inside nothing changes, it just means we have not
done enough so we need more of everything.
Until Christ is in one, the Holy Spirit dwelling within, and one knows nothing one has, has
value apart from knowing the King, the Lord and Saviour of all.
I used to feel this pain of loneliness and depression. Now I do not.
Everything changes because the life flows from within to without.
If you have let Christ into this place you will understand what I am saying.
If not, I suggest you open the door and ask Him in.
