My husband is a coffee-snob. (Not the kind of guy to stick his nose up in the air, if offered coffee. He just only drinks very good coffee.) His favorite is Sumatra from Starbucks.
Starbucks. The company owned by a guy who is more left than most lefts, but sticks to his guns on his issues, even if left-wingers have been destroying his stores during riots recently. He out-and-out told people if they disagree with his politics, don't buy his coffee.
Hubby answered. "Okay."
This shocked me. Up there with me ever thinking I'd give up Pepsi or Coke. I don't know what I'd do if I gave up either. (Sales. Got to go with sales. lol) But hubby thought about it, lined up which coffees he still likes, minus Starbucks, (and Seattle's Best IS Starbucks), and he means it. No more Starbucks in this house.
The owner doesn't know it yet, but hubby was great with Word of Mouth promoting for the brand. Now he'll be great at Word of Mouth boycotting the brand.
I remember the grape boycott of the 1960s. And Target was boycotted for their stance on transgenderism. Boycotts work, if enough do it.

Yep,I agree with boycotting if you're being consistent. But when it comes to Disney and kids its a little harder. Disney owns a lot of things most people dont know about. My sisters hubby was fine throwing out toys and movies until I informed him ESPN is Disney owned. Uhh huh shoe on the other foot. Boycott the movie and Disney will listen. They are bbq-ing them on their FB page. People are not happy.
