I agree that it is puzzling WHY Trump bought into this plan. I thought that during the Campaign he stated that he had a Health Care Plan of his own. What happened to it?

Regardless, his taking a lion's share role in promoting this Ryancare Plan just surprised the heck outta me. Did he WANT it to fail? And then knowing that Obamacare would collapse.....he could ride in on his white horse and save the Nation?

Boy, I hope this was not his motive, because if it is/was..........that is a dangerous gamble with the lives of millions of Americans.......

Yeah... this 3 part plan was a terrible idea. "Just agree to it even if you don't know what is in it." I've heard that before... I'm kind of surprised Trump was on board with this honestly... Trump was elected on his promises... one being to repeal Obamacare. They (Republicans) had an opportunity to repeal, and didn't. They had an opportunity to write a viable health care bill to replace it... but their best idea was a 3 part plan where we are ignorant to what's in most of it. =/

Trump called himself the great deal maker. While his party controls both chambers of Congress, his failure to repeal ACA was because he offered no viable alternative to it. Of course, his party has had numerous years to develop an alternate health care plan (one they initially offered in the early decade of the 20th century) but they have declined to follow through.
