For those who are condemning Angela for not being healed, you may as well stab her in the back while you're at it.

No one is "condemning" anybody for not being healed... while you accuse God of withholding healing as though not receieving healing is somehow His fault as though God is evil and has come to steal, kill, and destroy

You clearly have God and the devil confused with one another.

Yeah, I guess it's the same with salvation... people go to hell because God refused to save them.

It's always amazing the excuses religious people come up with as to why God's promises for healing are not true.

The fact of the matter is that God DID promise healing, Jesus DID take your sickness upon Himself... you just don't believe what God said in His Word and have allowed religious people who are trained by satan to talk you into believing healing is not for us today and it's passed away!

As long as that is your position, you won't be bothered with healing just like the person who believes they are so bad God would never save them (so they refuse to believe and act on God's promise) doesn't get saved.

At least don't let go of salvation... at least you'll have that and it'll be wonderful in the sweet by and by, someday...

That's about all the encouragement someone can be given that has been taught man made religious teaching is to... don't give up on salvation. See ya...

Of course rather than praying, as requested, you condemn for a lack of belief then sit around arguing in this PRAYER REQUEST THREAD. Why not just be quiet, go away and let those people who care enough to pray do so and take your condemnation and bickering back into the BDF. There's nothing Godly about your behavior or the results of your speaking. YOU brought condemnation. YOU brought bickering. YOU brought division. Others just prayed. But i'm sure you'll refuse to see your blame in this. Ego often blinds one to truth.

let those people who care enough to pray do so

What could you possibly pray while rejecting what God's Word says about healing being His will???

No really, what are YOU praying, specifically?

Sounds like some folk here need to see what God's Word says on the subject of healing.

Apparently some are not praying but instead are wishful thinking...

Here's what I'm praying for those that need healing:

Ephesians 1:17-23
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

That's scripture... so that's OK to pray is it not?

I have a real praise report this morning! I had to play and sing in our worship team this morning. I woke up feeling worse than yesterday, with a left knee that decided to have massive pain. I could barely hobble with my cane! I told my husband I was going to send a text message to our worship team leader and tell him I was too sick to make it.

But as I lay there in bed, having a minor pity party, I felt the Spirit telling me to rise up, eat, get dressed and go for the pre-service practice. I had wasted a lot of time, so I thought I was going to be late to get there. I arrived 2 minutes before the time, as everyone else arrived. I felt pretty tight playing flute as we practiced and my singing voice wasn't picking up the harmonies correctly when I was supposed to be singing. I was ultra discouraged!

So, we have a pre-service prayer the worship team usually attends. There was a lot of praying, and suddenly, I just broke out praying about how desperate I was for God, for a healing touch in my body, soul and mind! Suddenly, everyone was praying, laying on hands, and speaking really strong words into my life. Strong words of encouragement, comfort, peace, joy and God's love.

And God just broke through! He showed me his incredible love and understanding of my suffering, and how he was going to contiinue to use me, even though I am a broken vessel. Because we are all broken vessels. I had not realized how spiritually discouraged I was. I knew I was crying out to God every day, feeling like he was far away. I felt like I was in the wilderness, even though I totally trusted God, I was tired of trying to keep going on my own. But God didn't move, I did!

Then, the service went amazingly. God really poured out his Spirit on the congregation on the Palm Sunday! My hands were able to play freely and easily, and the singing was fine too! The sermon was on rejoicing and finding joy on Psalm Sunday, even though the worst that can possibly happen is coming on Friday! We sing Hosanna! We rejoice, but always remember that the sky is going to blacken and Jesus is going to take our place on that cross!

So Hallelujah! I know all the prayers here helped so much. It was like everyone was pulling together pieces of the puzzle, and every person needed for this task! So God bless my friends here, who heard my first cry, and opened the door for God to touch my heart and make my spirit whole once again!

Rocker, this is what it's all about. The rejoicing, the praise, the spiritual fellowship that accompanies God's power overcoming the fall's effect on this flesh ... I feel sorry that you evidently haven't shared in that experience. 25 years was it of never having a thorn in your flesh means you'll never know the glory in having one removed by God. I pity your perfection, wouldn't want it at all. I kinda like seeing the Holy Spirit get opportunities to stick it to satan and his flesh.

Tell me, when you're at church, and someone asks prayer for an infirmity, do you really crash the party and hammer on someone for having the audacity to be sick? Or is this something you do via the anonymity of the internet?

Rocker, if this were real church and you busted Angela's chops for being sick and our chops for lifting her to God, I'd tell the others to keep praying while I drag your sorry kiester to the curb. But I can't do that here which makes it safe for you doesn't it?

We're praying and praising and seeing God do great things here. You don't want to be a part of that then don't make yourself a part of this. I pity you for having reached the point of perfection where miracles like Angela's aren't needed anymore.

Praise God Angela! I'm telling you, this is a powerful group here when we pray instead of bicker!

I agree Angela!

I was treated very similarly with the WOF heresy. I was hassled for not speaking in tongues. My fault. I was hassled for not being healed. My fault again. I was prayed over anointed with oil many times. My fault every time I wasn't healed.

If healing is part of the atonement, none of us would be sick; every believer would be healed right away.

I was even given a list of reasons why I wasn't healed. I went through them all to make sure I wasn't guilty of any of those things that keeps one from being healed. Still no healing. God's grace sees me through. Abundantly!

For those who are condemning Angela for not being healed, you may as well stab her in the back while you're at it.
I don't recommend anyone stabbing Angela in the back because I'm going to knee them in the groin as hard as I can if they try.

Just sayin'.
