Here's the dare -- say something about what you believe and really like about God without bringing in how everyone else doesn't get it, can't be right, is going to attack you, will start a fight, blahdeeblahblahblah. Just something really cool about God without the assumption you're in this to teach all those other damned fools.

That's the dare.

The double-dog dare -- to then read without the purpose of correcting/fixing someone else what others said (especially whoever you like to argue with.)

Triple-dog dare -- listen to what they said in such a way that you can actually agree with them at some point, and then tell how you agree without doing both or either of the above -- either thinking everyone else is wrong for whatever reason, and then not thinking the person you always argue with is a fool, but is right in some way.

Can it even be done?

Can it be sustained? Even if it's just in this one thread? Can you do it twice? Three times? Four times? Is it even possible?

God is good - all the time.

(Lynn - am I allowed to say that if you don't agree with me that there is a great possibility that the earth will open up and swallow you?...:) ...it is in the "bible"...)

In the book of John it is written that God is love. If you can just keep that in mind you will know that the trials and tribulations that you go through and endure will be for God's glory and that will ultimately benefit you in this life and the life to come.

God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. Thus you shall say to the children of Israel 'I AM has sent me to you'".

I like that God lets me screw up time and again, and is patient with me. :)

I DON'T like that He often uses pain to teach me a lesson. :(

God is a spiritual, celestial being that is light (be verb) and dwells in light (a permanent state of eternity void of time)

What I believe - God uses whatever means He needs to in order to reach His children and bring them back into the fold.

God is an omnipresent Spirit, and all space that there is possible to occupy,He occupies it,and all knowledge that is possible to know,He knows it,and all power that is possible to attain,He has it,and all love, peace, joy, mercy, forgiveness, grace that there is to have,He has it,and anything that is possible to hear,He hears it,and anything that is possible to see,He sees it,and there is not one thing that He forgets, not one thing that slips His mind, who does not need to eat, drink,or sleep.

It boggles the mind, and that is why God said we are less than nothing compared to Him.

details

every day, even when you don't think so, God hears and answers

I love how He makes Himself so real in small things so that you feel like He has heard, He understands and its as important to Him as it is to you

and lots more

I agree. I did the triple dog dare!

Predestination and election is not God electing or predestining someone to hell or salvation. Predestination and election is our inheritance AFTER we believe.

Whosoever means whosoever can believe.

Meh. Could be worse. It could tilt on its side. But where is it opening up? Idaho?

And, yeah, God is good, even if what he does to us doesn't feel good for a time.

Amen, and not alone. (Always wonder how that works. Do we get any alone time, not need it, or ... who knows in a place that might even be outside time and space?)

Better yet, God decrees you innocent. (I wonder how cats get that.)
