Hey guys! This is just a friendly reminder to all of you out there who are into conspiracy theories and are afraid of the illuminati to STOP worrying so much and not to chase after these theories so much. When I was in high school and before I came to Christ, I drowned myself in conspiracy theories doing research and believing that aliens were visiting us and all that stuff. I implore all of you who are scared or are thinking about these things just to relax and focus on the things of the Kingdom of Heaven. I understand that there is corruption within the government and there are things that are unexplained, but it can become an unhealthy obsession. Sometimes we are a lot like the disciples in Matthew 8:23-27 when their in the boat during the storm. Sometimes we forget that Jesus is in the boat with us! Once again this is only a friendly reminder not to get to sucked into conspiracy theories to the point where we are thinking about them more then the things of God. God bless you guys and have fun discussing!

It's gotta be tough to be a "millenial" growing up in this crazy world. I have two adult children...including a son who is 23. I can't imagine how I would have fared as a young person in today's world.

When I was 23, I could walk out the door and score a decent job in fifteen minutes...one that would pay for a nice apartment and a car payment and surplus income for recreation. Had no worries about the world blowing up. Didn't know about the Antichrist cabal (the so-called "Illuminati"), satanists in high places, "end time" events closing in. God bless you with your biblically-based "glass half full" optimism.

'Of course, through the eyes of faith, we know it all ends in a spectacular fashion,...with the King of Kings bursting through the clouds...and on we will go to an eternal life as children of the King...happy forever, no tears, no pain , no death, no sorrow, no fear.

Nice to get a 'shot in the arm' from a 23-year-old...for this 60-year-old guy! God bless.

I dove into conspiracy in my studies of bible prophecy but I saw how my mind was being affected by conspiracy and I didn't like it I saw corruption and hidden agendas everywhere and in everything my mind began to only think about conspiracy and it scared me because I cannot ever allow anything to replace God and so I backed off of conspiracy theories.

Generally though the mentality of conspiracy theorists is umm... unstable to say the least, and I know because I have been there so I can understand the mind set of a hard core conspiracy theorist in fact one my friends is one. Sadly such a mindset can corrupt you because it overtakes your every thought it changes the way you perceive everything and not in a good way you see things that aren't really there and you try to fit puzzle pieces into places where it doesn't quite fit and see it as fact.

Then you eagerly await for these conspiracies to come to light and happen no matter how horrifying it may be you warn people about it but deep inside your hoping for it.

I agree with you Blain, You described it perfectly. Those were dark days in my life, a time when conspiracies replaced the word of God. God bless you Blain.

I know that I sound like a jerk and I don't mean to but you guy's sound like you are talking to little children maybe 7 yrs old with no intellectual depth whatsoever.

I think that any adult that can have outside idea's influence them negatively to the point that they need this advice shouldn't even be reading what I am posting right now.

Seriously.

Take you pc,smartphone,tv,and radio outside right this second and burn them all for your own good.

Oh yeah don't forget all newspapers and books accessible by you maybe to be absolutely sure that you are safe from these evil things go and live in a cave on a mountain somewhere and hope that God sends a bush to talk to you.

Just out of curiosity.

Why are you even posting this? YOU sound like the NUT.

Are you alluding to people believing in creatures that can hhmmm maybe read minds? Make themselves invisible?influence human emotion with telepathy?

Doon't worry nobody would ever believe such whacko things anyway.

Are conspiracy theories "satanism"?come on you can say it don't be afraid you are amongst friends....right?

We are all Christians here.
Im not worried because the Bible says that WE are going to win in the end.

Hey bro, any way you slice it, it's a difficult challenging proposition to face down the 'end times', the Antichrist, the imprisonments, the martyrdom, etc. It's the challenge of a lifetime. If you've figured out how to turn the Antichrist's death camps and guillotines into a cakewalk...we're all standing by with pen and notepads.

Riiight. Except that we're raptured "after the tribulation" (Matthew 24). If you knew you had to possibly face affliction, imprisonment and death...you'd be in the Garden of Gethsemane right next to Jesus...praying and sweating bullets.

Just ask Christians in Somalia, Rwanda, Libya, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Uganda, China, North Korea, behind the Iron Curtain in communist days, during the Roman empire...on and on. Those guys would certainly know how to enlighten America's "Starbucks Evangelicals"!

so are we better off turning our back on these things when they lead to death, destruction and the suffering of millions around the world? i dont think i could sleep at night.

I haven't figured anything out, just like everyone else so I've removed myself from society to the best of my ability, maybe there is a time lock on this knowledge so that it is only revealed when God wants it to be.
