I think that's actually pretty common. I've seen this happen quite often... I'll write a message on someone's "Visitor Message" tab... and they write a reply--on THEIR visitor message board, not mine, so I don't even know they've written something back unless I go check THEIR page!
No worries though--I've been here 8 years and there is still PLENTY I don't know about the forum, along with things that have changed over time that I wasn't aware of.

(Visitor messages are a pain cuz its hard to continually reply to someone to get a conversation going through them. One or two at a time are okay though)
