Your argument is completely invalid because in that scenario Wednesday actually would be the last day of the week and those people could always look at historical or past info just as we do to find the "actual" last day of the week or correct sabbath.

It's not the name of the day that is important, it is the chronological ordering and cycle that gives the significance. It's not the sound you make with your mouth "Saturday" it's the last day of the week!
Does the Bible state that Saturday is the last day of the week?

The world as it has become is like a big ship gone 'off course'....can it be turned at once ? No, it can not - that is why GOD takes the humble and obedient off it before it will be destroyed....by fire this time.
It is strange why the unbelievers and disobedient always use the essential services as an example of why they themselves can reject the Sabbath when they easily could keep it. Point is 'they will not submit to God at any price but look for any loophole to have their own way !
The world is of course, but I think determining which day should be the sabbath is the least of our problems.

Friend you are clutching at straws ! anything but what God is doing or has done. You are making yourself a 'laughing stock.
Most of us grew up in churches that recognized Sunday as the sabbath. I don't think the Lord is upset that we continue to recognize Sunday as the sabbath. Remember that he told us that the sabbath was meant for us, not the other way around.

Why not mount a crusade against fornication? Crusading against people who recognize Sunday as sabbath rather than Saturday would seem like a waste of time to me.

No it states the last day of the week is the Sabbath. Which for us Americans in 2017 is Saturday.

All of you misguided bible scholars also fail to bring up or recognize the Vatican changed the day of worship on their own authority which is very important for this entire discussion.

The calendar has to list some day as the last day of the week. That doesn't make it the last day of the week.

It's not a problem for me at all but seems to be for some not well up on scripture....
or maybe just not believing it.

Well, I don't think those of us who observe sabbath on Sunday are too worried about it.

No. Calendars aren't holy. If they were, and if some rich guy got a monopoly on calendars and started calling Thursday the last day of the week, we'd all be in a lot of trouble.

The calendar determines what you think of as the last day of the week and the entire society follows along and is shaped by it. If some rich guy used his influence to caused thursday to be the last day of the week, and our weekend became thursday friday instead of saturday sunday, then Thursday would become the sabbath because that is how "the last day of the week" works.

Whatever day we treat as the last IS the last.

Seems you don't know the Lord God.
Why should He not be upset when He made one day holy and put His presence in it for us to share in -
and we treat it like it's nothing worth bothering with or change it for something more to OUR liking ???
I wouldn't call that 'loving or respecting God !!!

If scripture says that sunday is the first day Mat 28v1 then it is blatantly obvious that the sabbath is saturday ? ? ?
Do you think that nobody kept record of the sabbath when and since Jesus used to go to the synagogue ?
(anyway, I'm not playing your foolish game any longer)

The Lord doesn't send you to hell because you guessed incorrectly which day was supposed to be the sabbath. The Lord loves us. He will chasten us if we neglect to love each other, but it's for our own good.

I know the Lord well enough to know that he loves us and won't eternally burn us because we thought we were supposed to rest on Sunday.

Perhaps I will ask John Schmidt to decide this for us. He sits by me in choir and is older than both of us (he is 97). He's a retired pastor to boot.

Bring him to the forum and I'll enjoy his dated references too.
