I think my cat could become modern art :p

There really are books of art done by cats. For some reason, some cats dab their paws in paint and make marks on canvas.

Someone already beat you to it. Try looking up art from old paint tins.
There are loads of pictures on internet. Honest. :)

I believe you. But my Paint Tins have unique drip and rust marks and my being an Artistic Genius makes their positioning mind blowing.

Only lottery Jackpot winners need apply.

I shared the link in the OP of this thread with a friend on skype, and he decided to share a story of a trip he took to an art museum once with me. Heres the conversation-

[5/11/2017 11:46:23 AM] My friend: pineapple
[5/11/2017 11:46:34 AM] My friend: reminds me of being in a museum and not knowing whether
[5/11/2017 11:46:41 AM] My friend: a weird box thing was a thing to sit on or not
[5/11/2017 11:49:05 AM] Me: haha
[5/11/2017 11:49:06 AM] My friend: it literally just looked like a block of styrofoam with a piece of cardboard on top
[5/11/2017 11:49:10 AM] Me: haha
[5/11/2017 11:49:34 AM] Me: yeah Ive heard a story like that before, a guy sat on a spray painted wicker chair and got in trouble because it was part of the exhibit, haha
[5/11/2017 11:49:39 AM] Me: I hate modern art : p
[5/11/2017 11:49:49 AM] My friend: I also one mistook a piece of art as just like a book to look through
[5/11/2017 11:49:54 AM] My friend: and accidentally looked through it
[5/11/2017 11:49:58 AM] Me: yeah?
[5/11/2017 11:50:00 AM] Me: what happened?
[5/11/2017 11:50:03 AM] My friend: nothing but
[5/11/2017 11:50:09 AM] My friend: i soon realized that there was nothing in the book
[5/11/2017 11:50:16 AM] My friend: and there was a projector thing over it
[5/11/2017 11:50:24 AM] My friend: and soon realized it was part of the exhibit and sort of just
[5/11/2017 11:50:26 AM] My friend: ran away
[5/11/2017 11:50:29 AM] Me: haha

Could be worse, he might have seen a dead sheep in formaldehyde.
I never did get why that was called art - I thought it was called dead sheep!

I have a Coke Zero can with me now. If I drink all the soda now, and then twist the can in a more...artistic way, it may be considered as art...idk.

Art would be me getting up out of bed or a chair lol...... that would also fall under skill. I think art seriously would be all the things I saved from my kids growing up put all together in a big picture. Maybe scanned and printed on a blanket.

Oh that sounds like proper art. :)

Some stuff I repurposed for "art."

GardenGalHerbs2.jpg
A bleach bottle turned into a container.

Teddiesflowers7.jpg
A bag turned into a container.

Teddiesflowers12.jpg
2 liter soda bottles turned into cloches.

wagonfixing3.jpg
A child's wagon turned into a base for plants.

teddybeartopiary1.jpg
A child's picnic table turned into a plant table and chicken coop wire turned into a teddy bear topiary (on the table, behind everyone. lol)

grillingherbs.jpg
Colanders turned into herb containers.

(And it won't let me upload our herb garden grill or our toy truck turned into an herb container. Bummer.)

Oh, it's showing a picture I deleted. That's the top of a pineapple turning into a pineapple plant. lol

how about our 'emergency-potty-chair'???

we could have a bench for the 'art-lovers' and have 'fruit-cake-finger-food' as an aside?
I wanted to add the commode to our garden, but John just said NO.

(Bummer, because I always wanted a toilet in the garden. They make great containers. A place for water to drain and stay as needed. aka "The S-trap." lol)

I like this thread... If they put a potted pineapple, it would have lasted longer=).
Mine didn't make it through its first year anyway. lol

I have this tree branch that would look nice if it were hung above the fireplace.

I use it to jab bugs, dead things, and people who take way too many selfies.
lt may not look like much, but it means a lot to me.
You could make a mint for all those people who want to jab people who take too many selfies. lol

If I dabbed my old cat's paws in paint, he'd "mark" me and I'd need bandages. lol

Ha ha, was thinking you could put in some sort of prickly
cactus - ouch. That would definitely get into an art museum!

Oh and the growing pineapple top, I didn't know you could do that.
What does it grow into? Know it sounds a silly question,
but does it just stay a small spiky plant thing?

A pineapple, of course! Much smaller than you could buy, but it does make a pineapple.

I thought it might have been like carrot tops, where you just
get lots of green foliage. :D

At the moment I'm struggling just to grow grass!

thanks Lynn, great stuff...

we know, we know you all, yes, she is a 'little-bit-different', but like
we have come to realize about ourselves, 'we are so FAR-OUT that we are IN'...:)
