Hi Denadii: You can read any version of any bible you want and you will not find that it says that the product of a cross between angels and women were giants, that idea came from another book. I already know all that is to know on that subject, and it was long ago. Do not add to Genesis and you will find that it is describing two different entities, one were giants(that existed before and after the flood) and the other were the sons of angels and human women....the bible NEVER says that human women gave birth to giants. For one thing the whole idea is absurd, a 5'6" women giving birth to a 3' twenty five pound baby, no way, both she and the baby would die before delivery time.
If what the OP is true the the Bible is not Genesis 7:20-22 The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died.
When a person tells me he knows all there is to know about anything, all I hear is, "I've stopped learning" which translates to me as 'something I do not want to share for lack of desire to offend you. I wonder why the genealogy of giants after the flood only goes back a short ways? I also wonder if it is possible that the giants did not even come through Noah. If that were true then where did they come from? Also, if they somehow came naturally through the human race then why do not we have then in the NBA? The picture I get of the giants that Israel fought against is of men around ten feet in height and maybe 800 pounds, also very powerfully built.
Yeah, and IN CHRIST we got us some POWER and AUTHORITY over these nutjobs... so cast them out and choose to not be scared of this stuff.

Uh Yeah! If the giants came through Noah, then the line would have been corrupted and Jesus would not have come from that line at all....We would probably have been washed away too.
LOOK here....Before these three verses The Word is talking about how evil things were getting...After these three verses it talks about destroying the Earth...What is it about these three verses? Hmmmm....None of you proponents of giants on the ark has mentioned these verses.

Hi CSI: It is mostly a joke, although since I have been here I have never read a post that I did not already know everything that was brought forth from both sides of the issue. I have had an interest in the bible from way back, so it is only natural that I would have already studied most all biblical issues and from most all perspectives.
I do believe you are quoting out of thin air... Genesis 6:4.."4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."
NOW what do you not consider that Human women did not have giants. Who do you thing the Mighty men of Renown was? "..when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them.." Of course the women did not bare children by Angels.... SONS of GOD (Ben 'Elohim)--ANGELS==Fallen angels to be exact, those who gave up their first estate.
The only correct way to read the Bible is History, Grammatical and literal all in that order.

How does a woman bear a child that will eventually weight 500-600 lbs.... It had to too big at birth... Like weight, Giantism is caused by the Human growth Hormone(s) gone wild. This would have showed up in the DNA of a normal child at Birth but over time, they kept growing.

About the spirits of the dead Giants. I have no doubt that ENoch is probably right. Man's spirit is God given (that first Breath of Air),,,What Spirits might be given out to the giants having an angel father and Human mother. Thus, at birth there would be no soul or spirit for the infant and since Satan cannot create life, a demon is the only way to go.
To die like men would be to die by the sword or the arrow or the knife, etc. In other words, they are not super human just your ordinary Giants that live down the street. You know the ones,,,,,, every body has them
