he was speaking of imagining that there was no Heaven where God resides.

I don't follow Todd...but I attended Lakeland meetings in the beginning. And I saw things...things working against Todd...and other things.

Rick Joyner had him under his ministry for a few years before releasing him back into ministry.

Rick has a heart for the broken...and so does Bill Johnson. Also for the younger generation.

It's enough to guard my own heart...and think on good things.

It looks like to me that Mr. Johnson was fulfilling Gal. 6:1 by trying to restore those that have erred. I believe the operative word here is " You who are spiritual."

but Bentley?

maybe you should do some research

Mr Johnson cannot restore Bentley because you cannot restore a person so deceived by the devil he says God gave him a female angel by the name of Emma for his very own escort

restoration is for those who have fallen and actually acknowledge it

even so, you don't jump back in and everyone forgets what you did

what Bentley does and is would fit in much better with what Paul said regarding the man sleeping with his father's wife in Corinth

You know, the Lord is not the author of confusion so if you seek Him thru His Word He will clear that confusion up for you... plus, you probably need the devil cast out to.

Let me bring you up to speed... he was a pagan by his own words who rejected Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation.

He was just another lost soul who those the beatles were bigger than God... how wrong he was and is.

Religious people who pick and choose which parts of God's Word they accept and reject... not accepting the whole counsel of God.... deserve to be rebuked.

Jesus rebuked 'em, the Apostles rebuked 'em... seeing how some of the folks on here reject God's promises, I thought I'd get in on some of that action cause some of the folks here need to be shown what God's Word says on various subjects.

And, no need to be "quite alarmed" as God did not give us a spirit of fear... that be of the devil, and those that know the Word of God know that and as a result they don't get all alarmed 'bout anything.

John 7:24
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

In Matt 7 Jesus is speaking of what we sow is what we reap (with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged)... so, it's not altogether wrong to judge is it is being done righteously and that means going by what God's Word says.

If something is in opposition to Gods Word... then it need to be judged as not being right.

well, it does not mean do not judge what is taught because if it did, the Bereans would have been scolded and not commended

God does not want us judging the hearts of others because our judgement is not capable of seeing into someone's heart

we are to judge the teaching, preaching, prophesying or whatever else that fits into the category of taking care of the sheep

even so, I certainly agree that constantly looking for fault is not correct.

in the case of someone like Todd Bentley, there has been no real turning from the sin. There have been excuses and coddling but Bentley is not a man of God and those who think he is are deceived.

We have church discipline that is not used when it should be.
