4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness(Romans 8:4-10).
I have no problem with those verses at all
However they do not state what you claim below
This states that those that are saved walk after the Spirit and not the flesh.
It doesn’t imply at all that people are ‘saved’, this is a false doctrine and goes against all scripture saying that Christ returns to judge. If someone claims they are saved now, they have absolutely no need for jesus’ return and infact are claiming to be above jesus’ judgement.. a very dangerous doctrine to hold.
That they are spiritually minded.
That they are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit.
This is totally incorrect as well. If a person claims they are in the spirit and NOT in flesh..that is saying that they cannot die. How many who have claimed this have infact ‘died’. Spirit cannot die according to scripture so this is definitely not literal.
That the body is dead because of sin,but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
These scriptures state that a person that is saved is a spiritual creature while on earth, which means we can be in a right spiritual
condition while on earth, and if we are a spiritual creature while on earth, then we are born again while on this earth.
As said.. a person is not saved until resurrection and when and only when Christ judges that salvation.. to say you are saved before jesus even says it is an extremely dangerous man made doctrine
We are spiritual while on earth, the same spiritual condition that we will have in heaven, because a Spirit led life does not sin.
This is a total contradiction of terms.. you are saying that people are literally spirit on earth they same as a spirit being in heaven and that some humans that you claim are spirit beings here NOT flesh as you stated earlier, cannot sin?
So basically you are saying you cannot and do not sin now? This is so against scripture its nonsensical. To claim you do not sin and are not flesh and cannot die is just not on.
Spirit life does not sin.that is correct..but alllll humans sin even those who have the true Christ. They are still doing sins. Speeding on the road is sin, you don’t ever do that? Please. Lets be real here everyone sins any who claim they don’t are making out they are higher than god.
This is why its important to know that only spirit enters thekingdom of god, meaning no human is there without them being changed PERMANENTLY to spirit. (you cannot change permanently to spirit form and then die.) it goes against the meanings of the words ‘’mortal and immortal’’.
Being spirit comes after death obviously, its church heresy to teach otherwise. Flesh is FLESH it says.. andspirit is spirit.. so if a human can tell me they are spirit and not flesh.. i wonder how they would go with a sword stuck in them... ludicrous.
We have to get it right while on earth, and be spiritual, before we get to heaven,so we can be born again while on earth.
We have to get it right while on earth in understanding the gospel and striving to be spirit (othewords striving to be judged worthy when that thief comes in the night to judge us(jesus)). We stive for that spirit life..(later when we die) and try not to live a flesh life(otherwords try not to do wrong by sinning when we can..but no human can not sin no matter how hard we try)
So we CANNOT be born again while in this life.. Nicodemus story clear it up.. whilever we are flesh we can’t be spirit literally..we can only strive to one day be spirit by doing well and hoping jesus judges us worthy so he will give us immortal(spirit) body eternally.
20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you(Luke 17:20-21).
The kingdom of god comes when we don’t know..so it wont be observed the exact time that is right. And the kingdom of god is within all of us...to grasp and achieve later when it is revealed.
To say the kingdom of god is ‘literally’ inside us is silly at best. A kingdom fitting inside a body? I have a kingdom inside me.and you have one inside you and joeblow has one inside him yet its the exact same kindom? In different places? Come on. Its not literal that is clear.
If it is a literal kingdom that ‘lives inside’ believers.. then why is Christ coming at all? When you die in this life does that mean the kingdom dies..yet hang on others who don’t die still have it? So does it die or not then?
If the kingdom inside is literal, where to people live after Christs return.. What about the kingdom it talks about and has measured out in measurements? What about those who RULE in the kingdom? If there is a literal kingdom inside every body (some dying off some not) then how do the rulers rule over the nonbelievers in those kingdom(s)? Do those given rulership float around from body to body ruling? Its just outlandish. And so not fitting all other scriptures talking about the coming kingdom on earth promised to the fathers of old.
When you receive the Spirit, the kingdom of God is within you, which means you already belong to the kingdom of God before you get there,so you are in a right spiritual state while on earth,so you can be born again while on earth, and you have to born again while on earth to belong to the kingdom of God.
When you receive the spirit? You receive the spirit when you are given life for the first time.that is the spirit. The breath of life. If you are comparing that to having the kingdom inside you at that point..then what are all the rules about knowing god and the gospel for? If you have the kingdom inside you at your first existence on this planet, then you again are already saving yourself and no need of jesus or to learn of anything to do with god.. your basically saying from conception you have the kingdom so therefore you WILL be with god so doesn’t matter what you do in life from then on or what you believe..cause you already have the kingdom.
Matt
Sorry to inform you but nobody is born again until jesus judges and gives them an immortal body. (spirit is immortality) flesh is not spirit..and never was and never can be. Its in total opposition to each other.. and god is very very clear on that throughout ever major doctrine.
