Nobody will go to Hell or Heaven because of their sin. They will go to Hell or Heaven based on whether they know the Living God or not.

It IS about belief, God has testified over and over in scripture that he regards a persons heart/faith/belief over their action and or deeds.

If we believe that Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins, and we accept the Holy Spirit for our life and for eternal salvation.

I believed God and what He said, and I have received God and what He gives. Which is everything for life and godliness.

Saved from death. We are now alive in Christ.

So I live from the abundance of what I have been given. Already given with nothing else to search for.

Our life is now eternal, in this body for a short time, but eternally with the Lord.

Our Lord can now touch the world through us, within us. We can see the world from His point of view, occasionally, if we just listen, lean in and listen.

You now know your God. Participate with Him in what He is accomplishing in this world.

Bring Glory to Him and show the world what He has done for them through Jesus Christ.

You tell me how murderer changes to that? It's nuts
Mine seems to have a life of its own too, but more evil than yours, lol. Recently it kept changing the same word into a cuss word. Took several attempts to correct it. That would've been an instant ban. So watch for that

can you point to where it says that?

before i rebuttle ill do studies

because i get the exact opposite and there are examples of people like job or john the baptist

Jesus said go and sin NO more not some more

those who sins are servants to it

no man can serve two masters

im not trying to be a heel im serious here

im under the impression what your are saying is against scripture

i can probably find 20+ verses that oppose what you say here

it sounds to me like youre saying all things ARENT possible through christ who strengthens us

now im not sinless

but based on scripture i expect to be if i can die to myself and live for Jesus
You cannot find 20 verses in context that teach sinless perfectionism....and Jesus was speaking specifically of adultry...nice try though....1st John alone poves your error

The Americans here probably think you're talking about trousers, lol. Pants here are known as trousers :)
Don't know that I've ever met a single person to actually use the word trousers in normal conversation.

We all do it, Jaime. Even those why say they don't..
Amen...there is NOT A JUST MAN UPON THE EARTH THAT DOES GOOD AND SINS NOT....this one verse alone contradicts those who claim to be sinless....not even going to argue or discuss that foolishness.....I have a word for those who claim it, but will spare.....!

Judas was a devil from the beginning, was never saved and dis not seek repentance in Jesus..he went to the priests which NEVER BROUGHT FORGIVENESS FOR SIN.....HEBREWS....
I agree. His allegiance seemed to be with Rome, not Christ... he was trying to seek favor with the Romans, alerting them to what he believed might be Jesus trying to overthrow the Roman government, perhaps?

Judas, a people pleaser. I'm reminded of this scripture... Galatians 1:10: "For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ"

Not sure where there's a specific scripture confirming Judas was always going to the priests for his sins?

I think his suicide also speaks volumes. He may have truly believed his misdeeds had the power to destroy Jesus and prevent His mission?!!

Jesus does not agree with you.
All you are claiming the issue is hard so let us give up.
Belief is just a mental idea, unless it bring righteousness into someone's life it means nothing.

Sin can be defeated through the Spirit. Why is it so hard to accept? Love is good and sin is evil.
Now in this world there will always be the corrupt who peddle fallen sin is not conquered but they
lie.

If you have not grasped the profound nature of Jesus, love, and justice, have you seen the cross?
Why do you talk compromise? Now Paul did not claim the prize until near the end.

Jesus talked about a difficult walk. Only a few find it. To be one with God. Now I look at the greed
of a lot of preachers. Where does this money come from? The members of their churches on the basis
they will be given more, or invest in me the preacher and you will grow rich, ie selling greed.
Traditionally giving to the church is storing up wealth in heaven, where no one can take it away. That
is real wealth and real value.

This is preaching easy believism. It says a compromised life is fine. Jesus and the apostles said no.
What you need to do is realise God is asking you to know why in your heart you do things and learn how
to found all on Christ. In Him we have the victory.

To those who say belief is everything, John says if you love from your heart, Amen, but if you
hate another you know nothing.

This discussion is as old as our faith which is why we still need to have it, and the hearts of man
will still be deceived. God bless you. Through faith and love we walk righteously, not because
we are sinners pretending to be saints, we are saints being sanctified in the Spirit still growing in
grace. Love is our path, though for some their hearts have not found it, so do not understand.

I have had conversations where this is clearly so, yet they continued with a closed heart.
Some have claimed to love me but also called me evil, lost, doomed to hell, and desire to
crush me, yet they are committed to a King who commanded them to love and die for me.

A hard heart is easy to spot. Things do not upset you easily when they should, and you are
disconnected from the struggles around you. If someone is broken, it matters not, if people
have a need it is not noticed, and paying for others is despised.

Haha. Good video. Well my dad was born in 1933 and I've never heard him say trousers. I think in the US it would be more of 1800s era.
Also the American version of pants (the soft cuss word) would be crap. Haha

Matthew 5:48

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

John8:11

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Job 1

1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

John 8:34

“Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.”
Luke 16:13 - No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

James 1:25 - But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Hebrews 10:26

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

1 John 2:4
“He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

Mcgee...before you try and prove sinless perfection, I suggest you get a definition of what it is first...

1. "Perfect" is also translated as "mature" as a mature Christian in Christ, you would have sound doctrine,be able to discern good and evil, fruit of the Spirit,He..,it does not mean sinless.

2. How do you understand this verse?

Hebrews 10:26

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

*** do you "unwillfully" sin?

Do you still take responsibility to repent and make amends or is it brushed off?
