Donald Trump will soon meet with the Bishop of Rome.

Will Trump call him holy father?

Will Trump bow before him?

Will Trump kiss his ring?

If Trump does, will that make any difference to you?

Don't know. Don't care. I've never believed him to be a true Christian, so i don't hold him to those standards. And Obama did this with muslims and bowed and spoke for Allah.
That being said i am a Trump supporter, just not so enamored with him as others seem to be.

My bet is Trump will shake hands with Pope Francis, and address him as "your eminence". If he doesn't and instead does something else, I don't care. Whatever he does, somebody here will go on a Catholic-bashing spree. That much is assured.

Well, as much as we like to bash Catholics, and declare that we have inside information that God doesn't know them, we really know nothing about how He sees them. That being said, we have elected Catholic presidents before, and had no problem with that... nor with how they addressed any Religious leader.

I think Trump openly says he considers himself Catholic. We knew that all along. We also accepted it. Why are we now choosing to invent yet one more problem to rant about?

I love Catholics and all souls.

We are supposed to have the love of Jesus within us, He died for all.

We teach against lies and theft, but we love, and teach the souls what the love of Jesus is.

They can accept it or not.

----

In the same way, we try to teach the truth, with love.

The goal is to bring people to Jesus, so that He can save them and share God's love for eternity.

We are all sinners, some more than others, but it is not our place to judge one another as far as eternal salvation.

Jesus has love to save all. Our greatest sins, forgiven.

Are all "Catholics" throughout history saved? Are all Baptists saved? Are all Jehovah Witnesses saved? Are Mormons saved? Are the Spiritualists saved (they talk to the dead)? Oh, but they are all Christians , right?

----

Will Jesus save all souls? Or are some lost?

How are they lost? The way is narrow and few find it, .... few.

What is it, that is fighting the souls from finding their way to Jesus and salvation?

The material world and the lies of the evil one, whose spirit is murder and is "no love" for God and Israel.

He is always trying to hide the path to salvation, the truth, in darkness and confusion.

----

Will Trump pledge himself to the Bishop of Rome? Has he already?

Does it matter to you?

Regardless if Trump calls him holy father or big white hat man bowing before him and kissing his ring is not gonna happen as that would be a sign of submission and while I don't like Trump I do not see him as a submissive person and regardless this event means nothing I highly doubt anything big will come of it.

Besides I don't like Trump but I don't trust the pope not because he is Catholic but I always get this ominous feeling when I see him, I think not liking someone yet Trusting them to a degree is better than not trusting someone and getting a bad vibe from them.

But hey if things don't go well with the pope Trump can just launch a missile at him- I mean write an email of mutual respect you didn't hear that first part

Now that Obama and Clinton no longer run the show some need another hate object to bash. The Catholic Church is a good standby for times like these so yes the Pope and the RCC will be high on the hate agenda for a while.

And all Christians should hate catholicism because it is a deception leading people to destruction.. Christians should hate any religion that leads people away from the truth and towards destruction..

Mainly protestants who do not falling lock step with one world religious ideaology that their pope dude is hawkin

somebody here will go on a Catholic-bashing spree. That much is assured
Part of being a Christian is reproving false doctrine... so a little catholik bashing is in order on a regular basis seeing how more and more protestant churches are becoming increasingly cathloholic friendly.

Trump ought to shake hands with their pope dude and say: "yo, whassup?... ya got any of that pope soap on a rope???"

Anything more than that is way more respect than their pope dude guy deserves

we really know nothing about how He sees them
That's not true... those that know what God says in the New Testament concerning false doctrine... would not have said that:

Romans 16:17,18
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple

1 Timothy 6:3-5
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

2 John 1:10
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

"Hate what is evil, love what is good", is hard to believe there are so many Christians who cant make the separation of evil actions/ teachings and people.

I like how people who call themselves Christians can justify acting like complete animals devoid of human decency to bash others...like cowards, from the safety of their keyboards. That behavior is despicable.

If Catholicism bothers you so much, then do something about it. Write strongly worded letters to Rome. Find someone well versed in Catholic apologetics and have a debate if you think you're so right. Stand on the corner next to your local Catholic church and go all crazy street-preacher on them before and after Mass. Do something active. Don't just talk smack.

Yeah, that's like obama writing a letter to the nutjob over in North Korea asking him to please stop bothering us, he's hurting our little feelings

Don't just talk smack
Thank you for that demonstration is talking smack from someone who apparently doesn't know the different between sound biblical doctrine and false doctrine.

Taking up for the cathloholics is a sure sign of someone who doesn't know what's in God's Word.

Go learn what God teaches in His Word, bird boy

What you don't seem to understand Willie, is that truth exist, and truth is not subjective. It does not matter how ANYONE on this planet feels about it, truth is truth. Jesus Christ claimed to be that truth so really it all falls back to Him. You are always on these "feelings" trips, and it seems to me, you judge way too much in life according to how you "feel" about it rather than what God says. Truth is not a place you can get to without the indwelling of His Holy Spirit in my experience. I didn't one day decide "I'm going to accept the Bible as God's word, and my ultimate authority from now on", then start reading it and pointing my finger. It honestly took a little while even after conversion for me to come to the beginning of understanding about how concrete His word is.

It has to be that way Willie, otherwise God is just like the world and subject to how we "feel" about Him. I'm sorry when I read "Call no man father", and that is what they call the Leaders in the Church I raise and eyebrow. Same thing when I read "Make no graven images" and every Church is filled with nothing but. When I see them bowing to these images and praying to the dead, and on and on and on. Not only that but when I look at history and see the Romans doing everything they can to exterminate every Christian off the planet for the first 300 years, then out of the blue claim Christianity. Now of a sudden these Roman "Christians" are dealing with problems with the sword just like Rome always had, a fact we Christians and Jesus still get blamed for today.

See Willie we do have "inside information" as you called it, just like every born again Christian the last 2,000 years, it
IS God inside us, the third person in the Trinity, the Holy Spirit and His word. His word has not changed, we know that from a scholarly standpoint, besides Jesus telling us Mat. 24:35 "Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear". It's not too hard to read the bible, look at and read the RCC dogmas and find it conflicting.

That's the main point Willie, truth. Truth is exclusive by nature otherwise it couldn't exist. That's why it's important Willie, only the TRUTH can save us and set us free, didn't you know Jesus is THE Truth? That's why it's important. Why don't you care about truth? Why is being nice more important than reality and the truth of God to you Willie?

You are free to justify your thoughts and actions however you see fit. It's your self-delusion, so enjoy all of that you want. I don't, and won't, share in your delusions or feel "righteous" to bash other people simply because they don't believe exactly as I do. As much as I like watching you strut around this site as though you somehow know better than most people what passes for sound doctrine, it's an act I've seen time and time again. It's going to be fun watching you work yourself into a froth one of these days, pop your mouth off to the wrong person, at the wrong time, and get smashed with the ban hammer. As sure as the sun rising in the morning, or the river rising, it'll happen.
