Here is another one talking about the love that God has for us. We have a good, good, Father and a great salvation in our Lord.

- MARCH 20 -

LET GOD LOVE YOU INSTEAD

"You have to love God more! You must have more passion for God!” You have probably heard this type of preaching and may have even tried your best to love God, only to fail miserably.

But what is the true definition of love? Let the Bible define it for us: “…this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us…” Yes, it is not about our love for Him, but His love for us!

“Pastor Prince, the Bible says that you must love God with all your heart, soul and strength!”

Yes, that is true according to the law (Deuteronomy 6:5), and even Jesus taught that as the great commandment when He walked on earth. (Matthew 22:37) But that was before He died on the cross. At the cross, He became the very fulfillment of this law for us when He loved us with all His heart, soul and strength, by laying down His body and life on the cross for us.

Today, we are no longer under the law but under grace. And grace tells us that God loves us, not that we love God. Yet, we will love Him when we see how much He loves us. The Bible says that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! (Romans 5:8) That’s how much He loves us!
Beloved, God has seen you trying your best to love Him.

And because He loves you, He wants you to sit down and be still, and let Him love you instead. He wants to love you with all that He is and all that He has. He loves you unconditionally regardless of who you are or what you have done because His love is not dependent on you but on Himself. He will never stop loving you.

So let God love you today. Don’t worry about loving Him. The more of His love you receive, the more you will fall in love with Him!

I had an experience where the Lord actually spoke to me and said, your example of a Christian is Paul, as He gave me this word, the place in the bible where Paul described all the things he had to go through, came into my mind. Folks, compare the life of Paul the apostle with the life of Joyce Meyer, or Joel Osteen, or Kenneth Copeland, Paula White, Benny Hinn, and others of that persuasion. The apostle Paul lived a life totally different then any of those people. Grandma Jones who lives on SS and prays for everyone and is kind to people would be much more like Paul then any of those people. These are not good Christian folks who went a little far with buying things for their selves, these are people who have used God so that they can live like kings and queens. It just seems that Pentecostalism puts a blinder on lots of folks, they just cannot see the forest because all those trees keep getting in the way.

I would like to present an apology to God.

Lord, I apologize for not being able to understand your Word because I lack the education to do so. I'm sorry the Holy Spirit, that lives inside of me, isn't adequate enough to teach me and lacks the power to help me understand. Since, Lord, your power isn't enough for me I will have to rely on man's education system to teach me right and wrong and complete understanding of your Words. Amen.

And yes I am being sarcastic. I find it totally ridiculous that some on here feel that having a Theology degree or a degree in Greek will help me understand God's Word more than the HS. Get over yourselves and start trusting in God.

Oh, some false humility and grandstanding?

You may not have the acumen to know the Scriptures as others do and that is a fact because not all are gifted to the same level, and frankly some simply are slothful.

Some are sent to be teachers, are gifted to do so, and some are not as gifted in that manner. We have then some who are different parts of the body. Your post is then way off track and the intent appears to malign other brothers and sisters.

The post above is a not-so veiled attack on others that have been blessed by God to be better gifted and who have been alotted by God to get the education from others in order to teach sound doctrine. It is inflammatory.

Some Scripture: Ephesians 4:11ff; 1 Timothy 5:17;

I barely made it through high school. Had to be put in special classes my last two years to be able to graduate. Never been to seminary or completed any kind of college courses for anything. Read the bible a few times to start and parts of it countless more times and here I am. What's your excuse for not knowing and understanding the word of God and chasing after aberrant carnal teachings? I can give you a hint but I'll let you figure it out on your own.

Really? God spoke to you about those people...Why would God make any of those people your business...Maybe it wasn't God speaking.

The probable irony in all of this is that all these people on here backing up these heretics probably have regularly scheduled doctor's appointments and go to the ER when something major happens. So much for their paper thin theology when them or a child of theirs breaks something or has a major illness. Either the crushing weight of despair will overcome them when something fatal or terminal illness happens and they will curse God, or they themselves will be decimated thinking "I wasn't good enough or was lacking faith". Or more probable, they are simply hypocrites. My vote is on the latter for most.

Honestly, some of them need a good dose of reality to break them from this spiritual slumber and disease that's consuming them.
Perhaps some need to be spiritually detoxed. They ought to listen to James M. Boice speak his last message about dying of cancer. He was, and still is a tremendous man of God, sound in the faith, and sound in doctrine.

Maybe... Sound teachers they typically label Pharisees or workers for salvation though. What they need is to hear and understand the Gospel, and the unfortunate truth to that is, as you well know, it requires an act of God.

Agreed brother.

The post mocking others and alluding to the Holy Spirit not being enough? It was at the least sacrilege (irreverent and insulting) if not blasphemous. It was utterly ridiculous, nothing is sacred to some, and not much sense of a fear of God in that drivel laden diatribe. Very shameful IMO, not Christ like, and not thought out.

I was thinking that earlier about it being borderline blasphemy. Also, they teach against the fear of God. They have redefined all the terms and worship "Mother Grace"

Just for us new people here....Who are you Angela? Are you an admin? Why are you on a worship team? Does your worship team spout such vitriol when they disagree with someone? So many questons.....What is hypergrace anyway...I just learned what Word of Faith is...
You are quite free, and in fact, I urge you to leave this thead, which I created for the purpose of discussing the Biblical evidence for Word Faith. You didn't even read the OP, you just copied and pasted it and called it rot. It was the basic Word Faith Scriptures, and an analysis of why they were twisted and out of content.

Now, if you disagree, post the Scriptures saying why I am wrong in what I wrote. Or anyone else who has posted Scriptures about Word Faith.

I would love to discuss on the thread which I created, the Bible verses supporting or not supporting Word Faith. Then we can look at the context, the consequences of believing such a false idea, etc.

I am on a worship team in my church. I guess maybe you don't go to church, and don't realize that it takes time and energy and practice to lead worship in church?

As for vitriol, I started this thread, and then people are actually posting devotionals by Joseph Prince, who is banned in the BDF, on this thead which were so twisted and infantile it shocks me to see how deluded and brainwashed people are to think that sort of think has anything to do with Biblical truth.

Hypergrace is the next level of taking a heresy beyond the bounds of anything Biblical. It has been banned in this forum. I only have brought it up, because one of its devotees posted a devotional by him, that was so unscriptural, and lacking in any Biblical basis, but also (typically) so judgemental and condemning of anyone who has been in a bad marriage - because the woman in question, the example, DIED, because of bitterness! What absolute and utter garbage! I have asked to have it removed, it was that vile. And no, I have been happily married 37 years, it does not trigger me, except on behalf of all those people who are hurting from a bad marriage (men and women) who just got kicked to the curb, judged, condemned and executed by Joseph Prince's devotional from hell.

I counsel and pick up the pieces every day of people who are suffering. I see the results of this gospel of condemnation. God has called me to minister to the hurting and broken, which I do here, on FB and in other forums, specifically health forums. And then, people decide that they will put lies and hurtful slander, so any passing person seeking help from God, gets punched between the eyes, smack on the nose with this hypergrace lie.

http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/143507-hyper-grace-preachers-doctrine-cc.html

And people wonder why I am upset?

My plea - post the Bible. Read the OP. Discuss the Bible as it relates to Word Faith. And stop posting hypergrace. If people do not want to adhere to this reasonable request, I will have the thread closed down. Because that is something that OP can do - close their own thread. Which is why, although I am not an admin, I am carefully monitoring this thread.

Ok - Bible - in context. Got it?

Fear of God has been reduced to "reverence" while sound doctrine is cast aside, it is anything goes, except for those who stand on sound doctrine. They are not to be tolerated.

Looks like some in "the church" are ripe pickings for a one world religion. You can bet they will seek you, me and others out as an enemy because were're "intolerant."

It is like the liberal left, but in "churches", everyone is to be "tolerated" except those who stand for truth.

Here is why the term was banned - it is a derogatory term used ny some that have a different opinion on some scriptures then they do or their church teachings.- it had to do with the behavior of the people as you can see from this thread as well. And some people were starting up threads just to attack certain ministers that they disagreed with in some area.

Joseph Prince devotionals are not banned. That is not true.

Quote:

BUT maturity and not attacking those is what is needed. here is what we get when the "hyper grace" topic is brought up:

1. your not saved
2. attacks
3. false teacher
4. infraction submitted
5. request for account to be closed
6. name calling
7. "hyper grace" brought into every post when not even the topic of origin

I have given you 7 reasons why this topic is not good for CC Thread and I have yet to find one reason for it.

Admin and the moderators will no longer allow this to continue . And appropriate action will be taken if a member or guest starts a topic on "hyper grace " or Preachers who teach it.

remember those who attack each other many of them call themselves christians yet we eat and devour each other. enough is enough. I am not going to dress you personally at this time... You have an opportunity to let it go or CC Admin and Moderators will take action.

God bless,

very respectfully,

CS1

And yet - there are still people that do this very thing. ...speak the term to start strife and cause division.

Your patience is honorable. You are correct, the OP was not read, it was shamefully and simply ridiculed.

I've not met one on here who believes the false WoF Gospel who actually takes time to read things offered which dismantle their errors. They say ignorance is bliss.

You do realize that this is literally an impossible request for adherents to WoF doctrines and theology right? It's impossible for them to sustain their beliefs against biblical context. That's why it turns into attacks, opinions, posts from WoF teachers, out of context scripture, and posts without scripture.

Yep, in these latter last days Paul's words are seen fulfilled in them (2 Timothy 4). They believe myths and fables, and the judgment is seen in the fact they are oblivious to it. It is quite solemn to see this happening right before our eyes brother.

Folks, one does not even have to get into the false doctrines taught by WOF, LOOK AT THEIR LIFESTYLE! Follow the money trail, they are after the things that this world has to offer, an exalted position above others, and the pleasurable things money can buy, just exactly the opposite of the disciples of Christ in the bible. Think please, the apostles had huge amounts of money laid at their feet, Peter could have traveled around to check on all the churches in a gold chariot with six white horses pulling it. Why did he not do that?...BECAUSE IT WAS NOT EVEN IN HIS HEART. Folks lets get serious, the Holy Spirit would never led a Christian to acquire riches by preaching the gospel. WOF folks are led by something, however never would the Spirit led a person to tell people to give till it hurts and then take the money and buy for their self a 20 million dollar plane. This is just common sense.
