I'm having one of those days where I've been quite busy, but I can't say that I've gotten any one particular thing "done". My garden is looking fantastic. I picked some daisies. I'm going to work on a motorcycle this week to see if I can get it running. It's liver and onions for supper tonight, and I look forward to it. I had a meeting with my major prof. yesterday and got some pretty good news. I'm drinking sun tea today and it is delicious.

So I was scrolling a Facebook and I saw a post on how to handle student loans. I'm starting to loath conservatives. Apparently if I whine about owing so much money I get called a free loading liberal. Ugh these people have no empathy, all us students want is advice and we get "no one forced you to go to college" or "get a job snowflake". Rant over
Nobody's a freeloader because they have student loans or can't find a good job.. The freeloaders are the ones who feel they deserve a manager's salary for menial work. They believe that someone should make enough to raise a family doing a menial, minimum-wage job. They also think they deserve raises every few months just because they've been there that long. I had to convince all my bosses when I wanted a raise and I had to work hard beforehand so they would know that I was worth what I was asking. The freeloaders just want raises handed out to them. I can go on, but I think I've said enough.
So, last day of school for the kids. Towards the end, I brought in my violin and went down the PreK/Kinder hall and gave each room a mini concert for those still there, and then for the rest of the school as they were leaving. This one song I played made a couple of the dads chuckle. And one dad said, "I see what you did there."

I fear something terrible has happened:
I was running my ice cream maker longer than usual so the ice cream would freeze properly, and suddenly the motor just died. So far all attempts to revive it have failed (and I apparently don't possess the right tools to dissect it for further examination).
I think I need to eat a bowl of ice cream to deal with my grief.

I would like to report that after a nice rest and cool down period, the ice cream maker lives. And my pursuit of making some good lower sugar ice cream can continue uninterrupted.
My favourite Digimon is Luffy D. Monkey. He is a part of the same SAO guild as a waterbender named Mikasa Ackerman, who roams across the Kanto region to become a Hokage, defeat the Shadow Realm and to solve the mysterious case of Kira.

Lower sugar ice cream is a good thing. Commercial ice cream is good, but far too sweet.
Just as long as you don't use artificial sweetener. No matter what kind you use, sucralose, aspartame, even pure stevia... it just ain't the same as a real sweetener like honey or sugar.
