It's a great movie and a great scene. About the dress, Bette was a little too big for it, so Edith Head made those cuts under the sleeves! I love that dress, and had no idea it wasn't meant to look like that. I love Edith Head, primarily because she did not like dressing Audrey Hepburn as she thought her too thin and did not have a good figure! She loved dressing Elizabeth Taylor, because of her curvy figure.
