It means what it says. Whosoever. Context will define the whosoever. Look at the whole of scripture. John 10, Jesus lays his life down for the sheep. Jesus died for many Hebrews 9. All that the Father gives to Jesus will come to him, John 6. No one can come to him unless the Father draws them, John 6. Many are called, few are chosen, Matthew 22. One must be born again to see the kingdom John 3. One must be born, not of human will, but of God, John 1. God will have mercy and whom he wills and harden whom he wills, Romans 9.

I don't have time to do full exegesis because I have to leave, but I will try and remember to do it when I get back if you're still interested. I won't be long. Pm me a a reminder if it's important to you. Also, you could search for my posts at the top of this thread and see everything I've had to say about it already.

So, now, if one is Reformed and answers a post it is "sniping" and lying, as long as it is from them isn't lying. LOL!!! ;)

Nope not a universalist,another false accusation being thrown around. Yes,few find the path,but not because they were not elected. Called and elected are two different things. And I believe that those that choose not to believe choose hell for themselves because they will not obey,as the Bible says.

Everyone thinks I misspelled my name. LOL. Has happened since I got here. It's supposed to be a play on words. I guess I shoulda went with something else. Kinda stuck with it now though. :p

Well, I am from the similar "camp" as Forth, so I think he does not mind if I sometimes respond to something directed to him. I would say he is more systematic and I am more mixed with some other views, but still the core is similar.

The verse says:
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

And I believe what the verse says. Do you believe the verse about few being chosen?

I don't mind if anyone responds. I thought Kayla had taken my comment personally that was directed at someone else. That's why I was making it clear the comment wasn't to her.

Question is not accusation.

So do we agree that few are chosen (thats what the Bible says and nothing from me)?

Do we also agree that nonbelievers will end in hell?

That thread doesn't count because he's been arguing and quarreling in it perpetually, those kinds of facts are not permitted when it shows the persons duplicity. Real evidence is not allowed here! :p

No,no we dont have to go round the circle again. My point has been made concerning sharing Scripture. Whosoever will and all the world,doesn't mean what it says. The sheep are those sinners that believe. Lets not go round again. The point is made,no use to post verses.

I made a post to him once and couldn't remember the second part of the name. When I looked, I was surprised. Angel isn't what I would call any of us.

He was sniping because when I answered a post he said it wasn't addressed to me. That is why I said that so you can stop stirring the pot. Someone just answered a post I addressed to Fourth, people do that all the time and its not against CC rules. I didnt say he lied so stop it.
