Exactly beyond. We don't mix linen and wool.

Linen fibers are hollow, as well Linen textiles are some of the oldest in the world, dating back thousands of years. Egyptians sometimes used linen as currency.

linen is a strong fiber but God uses the weak to lead the strong... :)

Milk is a metaphor for the word as newborn babes in Christ, we couldn't grasp the meat. As babies, we had to have milk as that's all we could handle. The same with meat being a metaphor for the word. Once we get older in our christian walk, we get deeper in the word, are able to grasp the deep things of God..
Excellent analogy I like it my friend and is true... :)

That's the problem, people know what they've heard about Calvinism and they act like they know what Calvinism about when they have no clue, then when you try to explain it they still revert to what they have been told by people that hate Calvinism.
What I've seen is that most don't search it our for themselves, but believe what they've been told by a trusted friend. So to malign them or call them a liar isn't called for because they really believe what they've been told.

But also, when you read the doctrines of grace (the tulip) it's easy to go away with some of the hyper stuff. Theodore Beza who was the one who went after
Arminian was the one that drafted along with other men the tulip, but he was more extreme than Calvin. So the way the tulip is worded, it allows extremism.

Cool, thanks. Now, did you accept the correction given you? :)
I knew there was a reason to look.

Who should I obey, preacher? You are the Lord?

Ya know I don't enjoy giving truth to be slammed for it...I've heard all kinds of things so I asked the Lord why does He give me these things. He said, "because I know you will be faithful to give it".

You don't have to agree...but you do need to respect your brothers and sisters.

Linen is white...is also light. Now does sheep have light within? You don't mix linen and wool because it makes the garment weak. The garment that we are given is the mantle of the Lord. Put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no place for flesh.

Sink back into Him and take on His personality...that is what mantle means in the OT.

Sheep is Israel. Sons are His body. It's just that simple.

for clarity...linen in revelations is white/light and is the righteousness of the saints.

These things are important for our growth.

You're getting out of control here. I offered some biblical correction and insight. But this is how you respond to me, you've done this several times now and have apologized once iirc.

Ya know I don't enjoy giving truth to be slammed for it...
You weren't slammed for anything. I showed how biblically we are referred to as sheep. Then you came back with an ad hominem response. Same here as well.

I've heard all kinds of things so I asked the Lord why does He give me these things. He said, "because I know you will be faithful to give it".

You don't have to agree...but you do need to respect your brothers and sisters.
You should try practicing that yourself.

We are called His sheep, flock, in NT epistles when referring to the church. Sorry, but you're incorrect. Shall I await your next name calling response?

Jesus had already submitted to it before the creation of the world. For over 2,000 before He came in the flesh, there were prophecies speaking of His coming and His dying. He came to fulfill those prophecies. If He could have bailed, the bible becomes as reliable as Ppl magazine.
You are overlooking the quality of willingness that was required for Jesus to be our sacrifice for sin. If Jesus was taken by force then the atonement would not have been satisfactory to the Father.

The human part of Jesus was subject to the frailty of the flesh. Jesus was tempted in every part such as we yet Jesus was without sin. Jesus was victorious over the temptations but Jesus was subject to them. Jesus desire to please the Father is why Jesus went to the cross. It was nonetheless willing and not compelled.

I'm this much behind everyone else. And after I wrote this, I saw you kind of apologizing.

My point is the same. If you do it, oopsie. If others do it, they're "maligning" you so you need to write 10 pages of why you're being maligned, point by point, and rep your "good buddies" for agreeing with you.

I didn't kind of apologize, I apologized and if it was not adequate for Forth he can tell me he doesn't accept it,not you.

Yes and you like and rep people you agree with,as doesn't everyone here. Didnt you tell someone you wished you could rep something they posted twice you agreed so much? I'll ask so I wont be accused of lying. And no plays victim round here and feign persecution more than you.

So... God must open their eyes and He decided it will be only few (a remnant), right?

Read Romans 11 its all there. And God allowing them to be blinded for a time does not mean they still dont have the free will to believe or not believe, since a remnant will be saved.

Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

Well, the plan to redeem man was from before creation. He said he had food to eat, and that was to do His Father's will. I took your one post to mean the Christ, whilst praying at Gethsamane, could have chosen to bail. If that wasn't your thought, please forgive me.

But, ppl take it that when Jesus mentioned 12 legion of angels, that He could have asked and the angels would have rescued Him. And if He would have, then the scriptures become broken, null and void, no longer trustworthy, &c.

Yes but 12 legions of angels could not have nailed Jesus to the cross. Jesus allowed sinful men to drive the nails into His hands and feet.

Jesus rose in victory over death and the grave for us.

I think all animals go to heaven :) Because God takes back the spirit he gave to the living creatures.
Animals have a soul and body. Only man has a spirit, soul, and body, according to Genesis. God says the creatures were given for our needs and we were to control the earth by way of stewardship. So, certainly we are not to abuse animals in any way, but we can kill them to eat them as is the purpose of God sending them to benefit man. We need to be responsible for them and we have even made dogs, which started out as a form of wolf but after our control over the earth; God has granted us we were able to develop different breeds we see today. DNA 'in-species' natural evolutions we can control thru cross-breeding.

Of course they can be our creature comforts too...Smile. There will be no dog's in heaven or hell. In their cases (from Dust to Dust). So love them well...I know I do..

Back to topic, just spotting a note is all.

I like this much better than my analogy, I kind of went the other with it, linen fibers being hollow, lol

I know those angels couldn't. My reason for using that is ppl use that saying to say Jesus could have bailed. He could not. He is bound by His word.

Now, do you think He could have bailed?
