Bee and wasp stings....water mixed with baking soda applied will pull some of the poison
Poison ivy and oak...a bath with some bleach mixed in will help
Mosquitos antihistamine
I just read you have lymph node in your armpits that can become swollen and hert with infection... So maybe not an illergic reaction maybe infection from the the sting being in for 6 hours,,, the pain is going now thank god but have loads of little individual lumps all round my bite sting..

Maybe ive been bit by a new breed of british wasp... ive never had this befor.. all tho i think i did manage to get the sting out straight away on the other wasp sting bites..

this one was on my side of the wrist impossible to get to it. but unusual why both my armpits would be affected. but thanks again guys for the advice lol right bunch of medics haha:cool:

I don't think wasps leave thier sting, they just sting and fly off leaving the pain with it.
I had 6 wasps stings when I went into the rough when playing golf to find my ball. Ouch it hurt.

I think bees leave the stinger in and you need to get the stinger out.

I am being honest here. I only experienced this once.

I had a pair of shorts on a line in the garden. I took them of and put them on and sat down.
Suddenly felt a severe pain and I had to pull the bee out.

I ended up at docs, rubber gloves with tweezers. Ouch

I got stung once late fall by a red wasp about 2 cm long on inside of arm by my elbow...caused my arm to swell and made it look like my arm was opposite with elbow on inside...the poison ate a small hole in my arm and I have a scar from it...it is odd that it went to your lymph nodes.....you might have that checked.....very odd it seems and you might need to carry an epi pen...if that bad the next time could possible kill you before you make the doc

Im not a doctor but from what I read from Dr Google the lymph nodes will swell as they are dealing with infection in the body.

I agree though that if the lymph nodes are swollen or painful get it checked.

I had that once and my whole armpit swelled up.

Turns out that a zit I popped in said armpit caused the swelling. Allowed infection to get in.

Gross I know

Hi PJ my friend.

To me your first two paragraphs are excellent and I agree.
I am assuming as a result of conviction you mean to repent is to realise we got it wrong, confess and agree with God we got it wrong. For me when I do this I thank God that I am forgiven. I don't make excuses for my sin, I hold my hands up and fess it up.

I am guilty as charged but I thank God that my guilt and sin has been taken care of by Jesus.

Just so everyone knows I am not a greasy grace. Just a greasy who needs Gods grace.

I think for me the biggest problem has always been, if I have to come back to God and do the same thing at some point God will say "Sorry mate 3 strikes now you are out"

That has been a real burden for me and still is to a certain extent.

A total lack of understanding of God and his amazing love for us. He knows we are weak and made from dust and he remembers this and does not deal with as we deserve.

I would say that most of us on this thread want to be conformed to the image of Jesus and want others to be as well.

We all express how we think it works for us and what doesn't work.

In a sense that's what this thread is about "Not by works"

We all want to do good works, because Jesus has asked us to. That's why we have the Holy Spirit in us.

I know that one of your issues is concerning future are forgiven but I think they are (correct me if I am wrong)
To me and I hope for all others on here that it doesn't give an excuse to sin.

But I do have to say that my sins are forgiven even before I commit them. When the Holy Spirit tells me I got it wrong and lets be honest unless the Holy Spirit reveals to us that we got it wrong we will not know we got it wrong.

So when I get it wrong and I know I have I come before God, confess (agree I got it wrong) thank him I am forgiven and ask for help.
Hi Bill, God bless you my friend.

"Sorry mate 3 strikes now you are out"

This made me think of teaching my daughter how to drive and reverse park.
We went to a big supermarket car park
We park in one parking spot and she had to reverse and park in one behind like an open
parking place but in the row besides. Now I said she had to do this exercise 20 times.

Now she was disappointed, so many times.
After 5 failures disappointment sunk in.
Then at 10 times the approach was getting better.
At 15 the turning got reasonable
At 20 she could do it.

Over the whole experience she learnt 5 or 6 different skills, areas to learn
maybe more.

Now sin is so involved in so many layers, issues, experiences behaviour rarely
changes until we change, and we change because we grow and it takes time
and practise. You become someone with different skills, insights, understanding
which until you start to work it through one would never see or know.

This is why when we talk eternity, we are not talking this world, or simple things,
or something we just do and it is known. This is all new.

My issue about our walk is just that we have a walk, and we need to learn.
It is this power and reality. Love is our guiding principle. The Lord and the Holy Spirit do
the rest. It is why I wonder at the dispute, because this is the reality of those who love
Jesus. God bless

Ive only seen a few hornets and they are scary. Time to change my pants.

I remember my late mother. If we sat around and a bee would come along it would worry her at all. She said a bee would only sting as a last resort, when they stung they would die. So when a bee sat on her hand she would leave their and not shake it off.

Wasps are very aggressive and yes if you are going into attics I would get a pen from the doc......One guy over here a few weeks ago got stung, walked in his house, collapsed and died in like less than 5 minutes.....serious....the way it sounds you probably should go get a pen before you go to your next job......

I agree to justification by faith shown by works.
Exactly why your theology is false.......and proves you teach a working for salvation which is false

PAUL was clear...

WE CONCLUDE and MAN is justified by FAITH without the DEEDS OF THE LAW (WORKS)

O FOOLISH GALATIANS, WHO HAS BEWITCHED YOU

HAVING begun in the SPIRIT are you now made COMPLETE by WORKS...........FOOLISH and BEWITCHED and those who push this are false teachers and their message is DOUBLE CURSED
dc - this is an example of projection.

Paul is addressing people calling for the adoption of becoming Jews to be christians.

Now I am not saying this or have ever said it. Yet this is what I am being accused of
being.

The hypocracy is condemning me for saying the same as you.
You believe good works are the fruit of real faith in Christ.

The difference is this is not a point of statements of belief but conviction about personalities.
If I came as a third party and posted this same statement you would say Amen.

This is not the behaviour Christs expects of His people. It is called being unforgiving and partial.
Now I forgive you, because you can do nothing else, your emotions and bias drive you to these
conclusions and antipathy, because your emotions are in control, not rational facts as you claim.

God bless you, and may the Lords love reign in your heart, to know His will and exercise His good
grace to others, Amen.

PJ I have two kids who now want to learn how to drive.
Im taking them to a big supermarket as well, with dread.

Isn't it good that God has no dread with us? I find this amazing and humbling.
I will teach you and you will learn.
I want to learn and be taught.

I remember reading once and I hope I get this correct. "If God is your co-pilot its time to move over and let him become the pilot.

Its funny when I could never get reverse parking even though I passed the test.
One day when I was driving and had to reverse park and couldn't do it, the friend in my passenger seat said, let me show you how to do it. I had to change seats.

He showed me and explained the way to do it.

Ive been able to reverse park ever since and not having to think about it.

Saving faith is a gift from God and the source, author and finisher is JESUS

after salvation our faith can be increased and grown by service

Is it not called a WORK of faith, LABOR of LOVE and patience of hope........

LOOK....ONE has not said that faith will not produce works (JAMES) the contention that has always been is, do works save us or keep us saved and the answer is NO (ROMANS)

JESUS is the beginner and finisher of our faith, the source of our faith when it comes to salvation and that is why salvation is eternally secure in Christ HE WILL FINISH what he started......
I get your first part makes sence to me but works not keeping us saved im struggling with.. ok i get they dont get us salvation directly i get that... works should not be about doing thm for reward i get that too..

What i dont get is the bible referring to repentance as a works.. and something we must do or be be condemed..

I know you dont see repentance as a works and so do some leading teachers on tbn network... alll tho i do think this one is a bit ignorant sometimes..
perry stone...

I like sometimes where he preaches from in jeruselem etc but he talks really fast and leaves not understanding him..

my other complaint is i find him speaking to me like im stupid sometime....

I dont know why he believes repentance is not a works but he does..

Maybe repentance is an act of faith .?

PAUL was addressing the church located in ROME "GENTILES" and was the apostle unto the GENTILES..........not Jerusalem......
