I'm not sure the world has "crept out" of a lot of these people.

Romans Chapter 1
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Leviticus 20:13 - If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
1 John 5:16
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
being turned homosexual is a reprobate punishment that DOES lead to hell
no you cant follow Jesus and be homosexual
but yes you can be forgiven and turn from it
also temptation isnt sin in itself
so if someone who has homosexual temptations
holds their thoughts captive
and doesnt lust
these people CAN be christian

'people here',
your post is seeming to include 'all people HERE'
how un-kind of you to say such a thing!
why would you even 'care' what people 'here' are concerned about, especially about
'reps'? why in God's Name would that even matter to you???
As much as I would like to agree with you. Sexual sex is far different than other sins. Sexual sin brings Christ into it, there is something very spiritual about sex and the Bible is very specific about it, by saying those that practice homosexuality. Why do you think that is, it's because you can have homosexual thoughts but, they do not join Christ to you fantasy partner. And we are living a continued sin of lying. We sin everyday and I can assure you there is a repeated sin in everyone's life everyday. We all buy into the temptation.
Not allowing someone into the kingdom of God off of your own judgement is also against the word.
I'm against being gay, but sinning, no matter what sin does not make or break a Christian

I Corinthians 6:9-10, 15-20 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God....
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two will become one flesh.”17 But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

No one here has done such a thing, get your facts straight. Everyone has shown this is the truth of the Word of God, not off their own judgment, it's right there in Scripture.
That's just a fancy way of being against God's Word and believing that practicing homosexuals are Christians.
They're not. Scripture has warned against this time and again. Frankly, you're incorrect and unbiblical.

Here's the thing, any sex outside marriage is a sin. Male/male, female/female, male/female, any sex outside a marriage is sin. The bible defines marriage, and the bible is the church's sole authority, betwixt a husband and wife.Sigh... look I'm sorry, I honestly post open to any corrections because I live seeing other views, and if I am honest I have learned from the replies. Things such as, it is more serious because it is repeated and they don't wish to stop.
I am sorry.

Now, in 1 John 3, John says that we who are saved, can not keep on sinning, because His seed(word) is within us. Homosexuals are continually sinning, which is a sign of them not being saved.
The heterosexual that can't control themself but continually sins with no signs of repentance is not saved, but lost as a green ball in tall weeds.

Spend some more time in the Word dear child. Become a more and more Biblically sound young woman and learn to exercise discernment, Hebrews 5:11-14. You'll never regret this and you will suffer persecution for it.
You spoke out of turn, and seemingly have repented. That is a good step in the right direction. It is commendable.
And, respect your elders always, especially those who are sound in the faith and stand upon the Word in spite of the attacks they receive from others for doing so.![]()
Quote:
For the "believers" that say it's ok to lead a gay lifestyle I would say that they have a "confused" identity and I would teach them the gospel as well. It's obvious by what they are doing that they don't know what happened to them when they came to Christ. I think the elders in their lives need to sit down with them and teach them the grace of Christ and in some cases to reprove them in this error.
In some cases? Either they are born again or they aren't.
If they aren't, they need to hear the gospel.
If they are, they need to hear the truth of the gospel that they're sinning and need to repent.
In one church we belonged to a teenager was having an affair with a married woman. Our leadership spoke with this young man and let him know that it's not acceptable and told him that not only was he sinning, but the woman was also sinning and that he was going to be the cause of breaking up a marriage as well.
In other words sin affects others who are innocent. He would not listen and continued on in his sin and our church leadership followed the bible and turned him out of fellowship.
The leadership happened to find out which church he began attending instead so they informed the pastor of the new church of why this young man was disfellowshipped. Not to be mean, but because he cared for him and wanted to see him restored to fellowship with God through repentance and by stopping his sinful lifestyle.
This needs to be done under the direction of the Holy Spirit as He knows exactly what to do with each person individually. Sometimes people are caught up in sin and don't know how to address it and thus out of frustration they make "excuses" for it because of all their confusion.
These need to be taught the truth of who they are in Christ - others may need to be " delivered over to satan for the destruction of the flesh"...this needs to be done by a "spiritual elder"...and seems to be a very rare case in the N.T.
This sounds like psychology to me. People are smart and know what sin is. And if they're a Christian, they need to be loved into repentance by telling them the truth that they are living a sinful lifestyle and it isn't acceptable to God nor the church.
All of them need to repent and if they won't they need to be turned over to satan and disfellowshipped. As far as how often it was done we have no idea. But it was done as often as it was needed.
I would say that today it needs to be done as often as someone is caught in a sin and then we'll probably shine brightly before the world as truly being people of God, His church without spot or blemish.
Two were saying the resurrection had already happened. Obviously they didn't repent and had to leave the fellowship. A man had his brothers wife. He didn't repent right away and had to leave fellowship, but later on in 2 Corinthians it looks like he repented and they received him back into fellowship.
I think if we would employ more church discipline we'd have a lot less sin going on. Lying, gossiping, adultery, whatever sin that becomes a habit should all be held to account.
Matthew says that if someone has sinned against you to go and talk to that person alone. Hopefully there will be restoration and forgiveness.
If not, that person is to take 2 or 3 with them to entreat the person to repent. All is to be done in love and care for all persons involved.
But if this 2nd step doesn't help produce repentance and restoration, the next step is to tell it to the church. And if the person still will not confess his sin and repent the only other alternative is disfellowship.
The true grace of the gospel of Christ "teaches" us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live godly in this present age. The final answer to me is to preach Jesus to them.
Just about everything you wrote is against the Word of God.Christians are people who ask for forgiveness from God because Jesus died for them.
It is not their sexual orientation, their sin, or their background that makes or doesn't make a Christian .
So they are not "Christians" they are Christians. Whether you think it's a sin or not. Being gay, even if not right in your eyes does not exclude anyone from being a Christian
Just about everything you wrote is against the Word of God.
I understand your youth but nothing in your words is godly.
A. Christians are "disciples", followers who turn from wickedness to the light of truth (John 8:31). Asking for forgiveness of sins is not what makes you a Christian. It puts you on the right path but there is much more (Acts 2).
B. The wicked acts that homosexual men and women commit against each other is not a "orientation" it is called by the Word of God an abomination (Leviticus 20:13). It is unwise to label what God calls evil good.
C. It does not matter what you or I "think" is a sin. We will be judged by the Word of God and the Word of God is very clear on this issue. Unrepentant sin will not be allowed on Judgement Day.
If you truly desire to help those in the grips of this sin, do not sugar coat the Word of God. We will all be held accountable to how we either upheld the Bible or watered it down.
Do not allow your feelings to overrule what the Bible clearly teaches (Proverbs 14:12).
