Other than JAMES show me one place in the NT where the word religion is used.........

Religion-->θρησκεία

Original Word: θρησκεία, ας, ἡ
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: thréskeia
Phonetic Spelling: (thrace-ki'-ah)
Short Definition: ritual worship, religion<----TRANSLATED RELIGION BY 54 Episcopalian priests
Religion = worship

Is organized worship wrong or is the object of the worship what really matters?

Greek Concordance: θρησκείᾳ (thrēskeia) -- 3 Occurrences

Galatians 1:13 NEGATIVE USE
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

Acts 26:5 Negatively applied unto the JEW's religion

Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.

How can you claim to be a teacher of men when you do not even understand yourself?
Grammer of a sentence.

How can you claim to be a teacher of men when you do not even understand yourself?

subject "you"
object "men"
verb "teach"

subject "you"
object "yourself"
verb "understand"

This is the linguistic analysis of this sentence.

ie. how can you teach the word (subject). When you do not understand (the subject) youself
EG - You are a joke, and I cannot take you seriously. You change the sentence and then say you
are helping me.

You obviously have an aversion to the truth even when it is literally there in front of you.
The trouble is my friend, what you write is what you write. You cannot change it and then
claim that is what you have written or try and be condescending when you have just got it
wrong.

Why is it so hard to just say, you wrote the sentence wrongly.
I have a friend similar to you, who always wants to be on top, in everything.

I have seen you try, I answer everything I am asked, or you are a sinner who has sinned
against me, or I give up. I love you because I see those cogs wiring around trying to come
up with something. It is good entertainment, a bit like having a poodle who can do tricks.

 I am happy to put Gods word out there, and you shoot it down, because it has nothing
to do with me, I am just being faithful to my King, and He is the Saviour of all who call upon
Him. Amen.

As a passing comment, it is not unreasonable to read a sentence, respond to it and point
out what it means.
I find it surprising to find someone try a defend their meaning by writing a different sentence
and then try and correct me about this new sentence as if I am thick or slanderous.

Anybody who behaves like this I would feel both worried about and sorry for. This goes beyond
sensible into the disfunctional end of interaction.

What is also disfunctional is how it appears some dislike me so much when such an obvious odd
behaviour as this occurs it is like nothing has happened and I am wrong. This is what I call animosity,
and real desire to just hurt or make someone upset.

Now I can really only address the elect, because I know spiritually they are the only ones I can
rely on. This is why Jesus talks about the division between kingdoms and fruit. It is always about
consistency and faithfulness, patience, and self control. Sin and sinners are always driven by passions
and desires, and are victims of this, which is why the people of God distinguish themselves when they
walk in the Spirit. This is why persecution helps distinguish between those who pretend and those
who know the word of life. This is why my spirit rejoices in Christ when He helps me to rise above and
walk in His grace. Amen. God bless you, because Christ bore so much more than this, it is a privilege
to respond in His love.

Do you have anything to add of value other than diatribe and personal opinion....you are not being persecuted for the truth so playing the woe is me card and the I am so persecuted for the truth I post card is like the two jokers in the deck.....the only time they add value is when the one who cannot win honestly must have wild cards..........You had at least 12 personal references in your rant..............when will YOU understand that it is not about YOU, but about the perpetual contradictions you make as compared to scripture Peter.......

You refuse to repent and acknowlegde your sins.
This is almost impossible to answer. You have tried this line for years, literally.
I have repented of my sins, which are many over my life. Would you like me to list some
of them?

Now honestly you can only accuse someone of refusing to repent if you say what of.

Now over the years your like has been repenting of not believing in future sin forgiven.
On this basis a fair percentage of evangelical christianity is equally refusing to repent.

But these kind of accusations are just miss-use of christian language and dishonouring Christ.
We are commanded to confront brothers and sisters with specific sins and bring them before
the church if they refuse to repent of them.

What you are doing is being unspecific and inprecise which is just antagonistic and full of
animosity. All I can say to you, is God bless you, because wherever you are God still loves you
and has a open door for you if you are willing to humble yourself and repent of this continual
condemnation of brothers and sisters in Christ. It will lead to judgement and rejection, and is
not based from the gospel or the word or the Holy Spirit.

I have seen brothers and sisters in Christ go for years being judgmental of their fellow believers
until the Lord calls them home, because enough is enough. The real problem is to fall into the
hands of the Lord is no minor matter, I have seen people tremble in fear knowing how blessed
they were and then failed in some spiritual testing. For the people of Israel it was wondering
in the desert for 40 years. For those who completely apostated and stood in rebellion before
the Lord it was instant death.

So it always worries me when believers walk this road as if they are innocent. In the Spirit I
cannot be touched except by the elect and by the Lord, and in this I rejoice. So God bless you
again, but beware, these are not games we are playing, or a minor exchange of ideas, but spiritual
realities which will work out badly if you do not walk closely to Jesus and His word.

Maybe you should try a different language, you might come across better.

Forgiveness is equal and done.. The only difference is in the renewing of the mind process
I think if I have a faith like texting on a mobile phone, in a hurry, and being totally superficial
and meaningless, I would agree with you.

The phrase easy believism came because of this kind of attitude.

It is the difference between trying to explain how a car works to an air head.
It is a wast of time because they simply do not understand anything than
I switch the car on and it goes.

I had a friend who did not understand the car burnt petrol. All he knew was
when the dial said empty you fill it up. So there you have it.

In Him we have redemption - the forgiveness of sins - because of His blood. Eph. 1:7 & Col. 1:6

We can either believe the gospel of the grace of God in the Lord Jesus Christ or live by our humanistic mindset beliefs that are from this world and the religion of Christianity that we create from man's carnal mind.

I wonder how many CC members attend a local fellowship(aka church)?
This is a good question.
It probably is over half. Some are seriously disabled and cannot go to church.
Some hate church, and are against church structures.

I go to an charismatic Baptist Church, and have been a member there for 25 years.
What is interesting is how different the split of beliefs are in our fellowship compared
to here.

It is the grace of Christ that keeps me in joy and grace even when tragedy is all around.
I have been in tears about the tower block. Strangely my sister was having an operation
down the road from there, a few days before it happened. These things change people.

We have had 3 major incidents now, effecting young people the age of my kids, which
is enough to do ones head in. I am just so grateful of Christ and His love and I can rest
in His arms and not worry about all the pressures and risks around us.

So in Christ I stand and can do no other, Amen. God bless you, and may you also walk
in His love and grace.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Please comfort those families who have lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy
and help the authorities identify the risks to thousands of others across our
country so no other tragedies like this occur in the coming days,
In Jesus's Name, Amen

Other than James....show one place where it states that Christianity is organized religion....in principle it is a way of life......
Paul appoints elders, deacons, overseers.
He supports the travelling ministries of the apostles.
Hebrews talks in negative terms people stopping meeting together as a body.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Heb 10:24-25

It can be shown without fellowships to go to, the faith often dies in
individuals as they become isolated and discouraged, because we are body
who need to minister one to another.

Sure....this has nothing to do with religion that binds the hands of men behind their backs to the dogma of men......Jesus condemned it as well as Paul.....

Here ya go dcon...

Colossian 2
17These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. 18Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions,d puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, 19and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

20If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations— 21“Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” 22(referring to things that all perish as they are used)—according to human precepts and teachings? 23These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.
