The pastors of which church, Catholic, JWs, 7th day Adventists, Mormons, etc, etc, etc?

The pastors of God's church. Real pastors, not any ole pastor.

There are two churches in "the church" -- the visible church and the invisible church. Any given God-center church has X number of people who go there. Some of those people are saved. Some are not. The saved are the invisible church. They are among those in the visible church. And, viola'! Same thing with pastors.

The invisible pastors are the ones charged with shepherding the invisible church. They're the ones doing God's will. They're one ones set apart for that office.

We should all be in constant prayer (1 Thess 5:17) and following the Lord. Anyone claiming to be the shepherd is probably an impostor.

Are you saying that those pastors are individual people who belong to no denomination, and do you know of any two individuals who believe exactly the same?

A pastor and a preacher are totally different roles and not understanding this and calling them all pastors has created real heartache for many concerned. A pastors heart is for the flock. A preachers heart is for the Word and giving out the message. A preacher will want to sit down after the message is given and want to be on his own. A pastor will not normally be on the pulpit and not normall y preach as it is not his calling, but he will spend his time tending to the needs of the flock. Different roles.
If you call a preacher a pastor, often the flock will assume he has a shepherds role and be hurt and disappointed when they dont feel the pastoring care. The preacher who is laballed as a pastor may find he upsets people without trying and not know why.
I believe there is an urgency towards a reformation where we go away from labeling all "Leaders" in the church as pastors and start calling them labels according to the fittings God has placed within them so we will then have a plain understanding of who does what and why and I feel the church will not only function better but grow as it is less tangled up. This is my personal belief but be aware I am human and it is the Holy Spirits job to build the church, and while I am referring to the church as an organisation the Holy Spirit builds the church of Jesus! The one is worldly but has spiritual implications. The other is spiritual and can change the world!

So what name do you give to this visible church, wherein the invisible pastors are gathered, who are charged with shepherding the invisible church.

Is there no visible church on this earth who claims to be the shepherd of God's people?

Follow the Lord according to which church whose interpretation of what the Lord wants you to do? And do you know of any church who is an imposter and claims to be the shepherd of God's people.

One of the difficulties is we walk by faith the unseen and not by sight as if the kingdom of God was of this world. Therefore as the chaste virgin bride of Christ, all believers, as a new creation ...we are to tend the flock as in where two or three gather together in the name of the chief Sheppard He is there with them, Christ in them . This kind of Sheppard is used in various parable are also referred to as the "mother of us all" in the same way.

Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

In that way Paul was acting as a segregate mother/ Sheppard holding out the gospel in a hope God who alone can cause the growth would apply it to the heart of other as the Chief Sheppard of our soul .

Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Other places as parables use other metaphors they are used to accomplish how Christ defends his faith working in us. Like a she bear the mother ready to die for the seed passed down or the Sheppard ready to lay down his life for the sheep

If you define a Christian as one who believes that the canon of the Roman church of Emperor Constantine, is the infallible word of the Lord, then I am definitely not a Christian, but I believe every word that came from the Lord and not the corrupted and limited amount of holy scriptures compiled as the canon of the Roman church of Emperor Constantine that was established in the 4th century.

I suspect that you even believe the words of Helena the mother of Constantine, who instilled in the Roman church the belief that the wise men, travelled to Bethlehem of Judah and paid homage to the baby Jesus in the Manger.

Although I have been condemned as a liar and a heretic by members of this forum, you will not find that I have made any offensive remark to any in response to their attacks on myself. I simply proclaim the truth as I see it.

BTW, here below, is what S-word means.

Elijah, who was carried up to stand by Enoch’s side
Stood by the brook at Kishon where the priests of Baal all died
It was He, who gave the order and the waters all ran red
As fifty and eight hundred more, false prophets all fell dead.
Will you fight the war ‘gainst ignorance, the war that will be won
By those who wield the S-word of God, the sharp two edge-ed tongue

In other forums my user name is; "The Tongue."

to why god, had to send, his son in the first place. etc

For God So Loved the World
16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God."John 3

I've heard others using the S-word meaning submission as if it's a negative thing. :)
