I know the bible doesn't say exactly how old Jesus was when He was crucified, but I do believe this can be known at least in the ball park range of age,

Any thoughts on this?

Am pretty sure He was 33 when He started on His ministry.

Quite interesting so you don't think He was 12 when He was amazing folks with His teachings.

I never thought about it beyond. Is there some kind of discrepancy?

Luke 4:19-21 KJV
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. [20] And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. [21] And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Well yes if I was to think He was 33 years old when He started His ministry.

Come to think of it beyond, I don't know where the info came from about His being 33. Not sure if it's in scripture.

Ok, I googled. I read trained Rabbi's usually started their ministry at 30. But, in thinking about it...He being 33 at His crucifixion...one could say that He began the present day of His Ministry. Seems to me there is a book named that. :)

This is normally how folks come up with that theory, based on adding 3 1/2 years of recorded testimonies.

There's a ball park answer written just seeing if anyone can find it.
In scripture?

Yea, here's a hint a clue per say, if I say your not yet 90 years old, would that be correct yes but I would be jumping over the fact that your not quite 75 years old or even 80 years old. it's more logical to say not quite 75 years old yet or even 80 than say 90,

With that logic being about 30 would make Him 29, right?

But, I was looking at scripture.

~Joh_11:51  And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

If the high priest prophesied the same year that Jesus was crucified, then perhaps Josepheus or however that historians name is spelled, could be researched to find this out?

With the same logic, here's the verses.

John 8:56-58
56Your father Abraham was overjoyed to see My day. He saw it and was glad.”

57Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?”

58“Truly, truly, I tell you,” Jesus declared, “before Abraham was born, I am!”…
