Matthew 27:52

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
I can think of 2 that didn't - Enoch and Elijah. :) The bible is PRECISE in it's language.

Matthew 27:52

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Yeah...that was that ONE TIME EVENT I was talking about.

GOD gave a visible sign that those who had been asleep prior to HIS COMING weren't going to be in their graves anymore...

Their bodies would be, but no...not their souls...

HE led captivity in HIS TRAIN...

Correct?

But they are going to physically die when they come as witnesses.

Since all must die once...and no man can proceed THE SON of GOD...

There's a FIRST RESURRECTION
and then there's a second resurrection.

Those who have a part in the FIRST RESURRECTION have already passed from death to life.
and though they physically die, they shall live...

Why can not both positions be true and reconciled? That there was a past fulfillment of the olivet discourse and a future fulfillment coming up? Or is that too crazy to think so? Why, if so?
It's hard to say anything to do with earthly Jerusalem is future because Heavenly Jerusalem took it's place. What purpose would earthly Jerusalem or the Jews have in the future?

Did that happen yet?

Did John 5 happen yet?

Refer to 2Peter 3 and understand that when CHRIST descended and was raised, those who had been in the earth whom HE preached by the SPIRIT, were shown to be alive...

They didn't remain alive...their bodies, their physical vessels remained in the earth, but their souls were led captive in HIS TRAIN...they are no longer being held captive in captivity...

Did you think that their souls and their vessels were in hell waiting?
Or just their souls?

They were released from that prison and brought somewhere else...

What about all of those that are alive at the rapture, are they going to die after the rapture?

In the 1000 year reign, who will be reigning?
And those who reign with HIM, have they physically died?
How are they reigning?

Their flesh will be changed.
The soul and spirit does not die, sir.

Flesh does...the visible outward vessel is what decays and dies

They'll be changed.

So will Enoch's and Elijah. Why do they have to die?

So will Enoch's and Elijah. Why do they have to die?
Because all must die once...and because the GOSPEL will be presented not only by human witnesses, but by heavenly witnesses, and lastly by angels in the hopes that some men will WAKE UP and believe...

And their death will be a profound witness to THE TRUTH...

Christ and the church - old testament saved people and new testament saved people.

Not all will have died, some will be the raptured saints who never died.

All flesh will be changed from corruptible to INCORRUPTIBLE

But all will be changed...

In the wrong hands, yes
Therefore you are accusing me of handling HIS WORD incorrectly?
In order not to cause confusion, I will leave and keep my mouth closed.

Continue your discussion with KJV.

I will have to bite my lip to keep silent...

And the sign of his coming and the end of the world.

Matthew 24:3 KJV
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

There is no end of the world - trying to build "theology" on a poor translation of the Greek text leads to bogus results.

Try using a better translation such as Young's Literal:

Mat 24:3 And when he is sitting on the mount of the Olives, the disciples came near to him by himself, saying, 'Tell us, when shall these be? and what is the sign of thy presence, and of the full end of the age?'

Paul told his readers that the end of the ages had come upon them:

1 Co 10:11 And all these things as types did happen to those persons, and they were written for our admonition, to whom the end of the ages did come

And in Hebrews:

Heb 9:26 since it had behoved him many times to suffer from the foundation of the world, but now once, at the full end of the ages, for putting away of sin through his sacrifice, he hath been manifested.
