There is no end of the world - trying to build "theology" on a poor translation of the Greek text leads to bogus results.

Try using a better translation such as Young's Literal:

Mat 24:3 And when he is sitting on the mount of the Olives, the disciples came near to him by himself, saying, 'Tell us, when shall these be? and what is the sign of thy presence, and of the full end of the age?'

Paul told his readers that the end of the ages had come upon them:

1 Co 10:11 And all these things as types did happen to those persons, and they were written for our admonition, to whom the end of the ages did come

And in Hebrews:

Heb 9:26 since it had behoved him many times to suffer from the foundation of the world, but now once, at the full end of the ages, for putting away of sin through his sacrifice, he hath been manifested.
There is a new "heaven" and a new "earth"

Why did you have a hard time understanding?
Don't you understand what Paul was discussing when he spoke of the resurrection?

Are you implying the earth is eternal? Even atheists would disagree with that. I do think it is evident from the Scriptures that there will be a new creation, and with that the destruction of the current.

It's not a "physical" new heaven and earth - they were "built" in the 1st century AD.
I don't know what I will see but I know that there will no longer be a firmament separating the heavens above from the heavens below

that i know

abd I won't go any further

Im surprised that you already know
are you allowed to discuss it?

Here is something else I know about the "new heaven" and "new earth" mentioned in revelation

there will be nothing that causes sin
no more sickness
no more death
no more mourning

a man will be 100 years old and be considered a child

and if anyone does die it will be because of their sin

a physical earth?
no. Something completely different from this present home which we call earth

but nian knows what GOD has in store other than wholeness and beauty and goodness and peace and all the things which we long for that we presently do not have

It is so disappointing to me to learn that God hated the people He created so much that He placed them on a ticking "Time Bomb", then threatened them with sudden obliteration at some unknown time in the future if they didn't swear allegiance to Him.

Helluva great incentive to become a Christian.

Is this why we are to follow Jesus?

it must be disappointing to GOD that men don't recognize THE GIFT of HIS SON and HIS GRACE and MERCY most visibly and clearly seen in HIS SON that they look for "another way" but THE WAY

Can someone help me out, and show me where, in Genesis, God told Adam that He was going to blow-up the Earth because His creations ate an apple?

He told Adam there would be changes as a consequence of their disobeying... thorns, hard work, rough childbirth, etc... and, of course, death... but did He say that He was going to explode everything He created because of what they did?

HE said as long as it is seed...time...and harvest the earth will remain and HE will not destroy the earth by water again?

And do you believe Peter that the earth will be destroyed, not by water but by fire?

Eph 3:21 (NASB) to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations [fn] forever and ever. Amen.

fn - Literally: of the age of the ages

Paul states that worship will occur throughout the generations "forever" therefore to state there is an end of generations posited by a supposed end of the church age and an end of the world is contrary to what Paul stated and other scriptures.

"age of the ages" is the Greek way of saying "endless" - that's why modern translations translate the phrase
aionas ton aionon (αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων) as "forever and ever".

Yes there was a new creation, the deconstruction of the old creation was in the 1st century AD, the old creation was the "world" of the Israelites that came to an end in the war of 66-70 AD along with the passing of the old covenant - the new creation is the covenant of Christ:

Heb 8:13 (Young's Literal) in the saying 'new,' He hath made the first old, and what doth become obsolete and is old is nigh disappearing.

Do you believe in THE TRUTH of THE GOSPEL?
or is it something else you have put your faith in?

Well, we start with a problem when we assume the Earth was destroyed by water. It was not. So, how do we find ourselves free to now say that the literal planet of Earth is going to be destroyed by flames and explosions?

Let's see..... I think we can all agree that "Gospel" means good news. That good news was, in part, that Jesus reversed the specific curses spoken to Adam. And that IS Good News. But is the planet we were designed to live on forever getting blown to pieces, "Good News?"

I think this would be full preterism? You are pushing the envelope too far, this is past Orthodoxy. I do not buy your premise of new heaven and new earth being merely a destruction of a temple. John wrote that there would no longer be suffering, no tears and no death. Therefore I can conclude that this is not the New Creation.

is fire in the Bible a symbol of God's judgment? even at Pentecost?

it's symbolic, right? (meaning not necessarily literal?)

just wondering.......

How will sin be removed in a single day?
