How important is a sense of humour

you seriously laugh at everything?
If you are serious then you'll seriously get along with the unserious people here because they seriously aren't serious when it comes to being serious,because being unserious is so seriously fun,so seriously think about some of us unserious people you can talk to because we would like to seriously make you laugh with our unseriousness,and I'm being Serious!!!
 
Hi! I'm new here. Excuse me If I don't get into the topic. I'm looking for someone to talk to on skype and learn from what Jesus has done on them, I'm learning english btw...

I remember being out in the forest on a hill with two friends. The path was narrow, and there was a steep, but sort "tench" beside it, with bushes. So, we're walking along, and suddenly I find myself sprawled in the bushes, all tangled up. I normally get angry at myself when I am clumsy, but that time I laughed so hard they first thought I had hurt myself :p

Agreed. I think God has a sense of humor. Knees... and camels. I mean, hello??

Sarah said in Genesis that God 'gave her cause to laugh', so humor seems to have been there from the get-go. Of course, also Biblical is everything in moderation, and only speak what is edifying so there are boundaries for it.
 
Having a sense of humor is part of having a merry, cheerful or joyful heart. I just know when my spirit was broken, my bones, flesh and all else dried out... but on restoring a merry heart, i healed. We do not all have the same sense of humor, but thank God He gives that as well (one of the good and perfect gifts=).

Prov. 17.22 KJV
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

 
Some jokes can reach other people better than a long sermon or article could. There is a time when sleepy funny bones need tickling too.

A minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas just before a long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quickly, but there were many cars ahead of him. Finally, the attendant motioned him toward a vacant pump.

“Reverend,” said the young man, “I’m so sorry about the delay. It seems as if everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip.”

The minister chuckled, “I know what you mean. It’s the same in my business.”
