"In the month of June, the average daytime temperatures are generally around 14°C in the city while the average high temperature can reach 18°C on the warmest days. Sydney never gets too cold, even in the winter. Average minimum temperatures generally tend to be around 10°C."

It's not "always hot and sunny" the temperatures vary in correspondence with the diagram. The sun never gets that far away from Australia and it's orbit is directly over it during our spring, fall, and winter. Compared to North America where it is only directly over it during our summer. However, in southern areas like Florida in North America, It stays warm year round do to the proximity to the sun's orbit.

Same goes for Africa, the Sun's orbit is always over the continent regardless of the time of year.
OK, so Australia has 18C, but we have -20C, so... why?

The distance from the center of north america to the orange line, is a greater distance than the distance from the center of Australia to the yellow line.

In florida the temperatures are similar to those of Australia during it's winter months:

"The overall average temperature in December is 16°C, which is the same as in January and February, the other “winter” months. Swimming is still very much possible in Florida in December though—the sea temperature averages 25°C now, which is amazingly warm."

He must not know what he is talking about.....I have been to Australia 6 times, seen all 4 seasons, spent over 5 months there, and talk daily to people I know there and they have been waking up with frost every day for the last two weeks and 0 degrees c....... and the last time I was there in WINTER had to scrape frost off the window of the JEEP and use heated seats.....and it snows in the Blue Mountains which are about 1.5 hours just west of Sydney....which I have SEEN with my own eyes...

Or mobile phones with GPS. Do you believe mobile phones work and GPS too?
"Global" positioning system? Need I say more?:D

I believe these devices function, but man successfully creating and using telecommunication devices doesn't lead me to believe all of his claims about everything are true and that he is infallible and would never lie.

I am not from the USA.

Also, what about global warming? When I was a kid, we had tuns of snow every winter. Last 10 years we have very mild winters. Why?

I posted information for sydney, is this where you were?

Elevation and other factors can greatly change temperature, I gave a general temperature for one city of Australia during winter months.

I can't keep answering your questions without the conversation going anywhere, now you are asking me about global warming.
"Climate Change". Whatever you believe is occuring in the "globe" atmosphere can be applied to the flatmosphere.

Yes, GPS or Glonass or Galileo. How exactly it works according to you?

Because it is? High southern latitudes isn't specific, and if you mean there summer which is our winter the sun is orbiting around the orange circle during that time, as you can see most would perceive it south of their location.
Latitude runs from 0 to 90 in the North and 0 to 90 in the South. So, "high southern latitudes" would mean anything farther from 0 than 45 degrees south. I live at about 50 degrees north, and see the sun "north of" my location. People at similar latitudes in the southern hemisphere, seeing the same thing (the sun "south of" their location" is what I'm getting at.

Because I think you can explain this or that isolated question, but your model does not work for everything in our life. Yes, our life includes GPS, warming, seasons etc etc. If your flat earth model can explain one thing but not the other one, it is not real....

Yes....Sydney, Paramatta, Black Town, Penrith, Katoomba, Leura, Emu Plains etc....all Sydney and suburbs of Sydney....and Skype everyday.....they had heavy frost just yesterday in Mulgoa......I understand average temps etc.....and obviously the closer you get to the Pacific in Sydney the temps will rise due to the heat off of the ocean water....but the last winter I was there I froze my rear off...had to wear long johns....seen snow, frost etc. just 40 minutes west of Sydney....was there a month ago and spent 26 days there and had to use heat every night and most days.....

Look at the diagram, follow the colors, and read my other posts. The orbit of the sun varies throughout the year, and they are seeing the bottom of the circle while you are seeing the top/right. Look at the diagram/model

On thing I find interesting is the time it takes to fly from Dallas to Sydney and then from Sydney back to Dallas.....flying the same height and air speed

Going it takes 17 hours non stop from Dallas to Sydney non-stop 41,000 feet at about 550 MPH

Coming back 15 hours non stop flying same speed, distance and height above the earth....

How can this be accounted for....?

You're either not understanding or avoiding the question. Please explain how people in the high southern latitudes (farther from the equator than about 45 degrees) perceive the sun coming from the south in the morning and evening in their summer. It's a basic question. If you can't answer it, then just say so.

According to your diagram, it is only possible to perceive the sun coming from the north in the north. You can't account for it being perceived from the south, at locations south of your circle.
