sunrise sunset positions in summer and winter, in the northern and southern hemisphere prove
we live on a globe with a tilt. If your flat earth model cannot show how this works it does
not exist. Now anyone can work this out with simple geometry.

If this is beyond you, then you will have to trust people. Look at the sun and moon, globes.

Why would the earth be not the same? God bless you.
Sunrise and Sunset positions vary throughout the year, along with the orbits of sun and moon:

The sun and moon being "globes" doesn't mean the earth has to be a globe. Using this logic, is heaven a globe too?

Gary why are you lying?
I am not lying...

I have never in my life seen a photograph of the whole Earth.

As in - the entire sphere can be seen in a single unedited photograph.

If the Earth were a sphere, we would have hundreds, if not thousands, of these pictures.

i've seen that. easily hundreds of times.

how often do you go outside and look at the night sky?

when we watch meteor showers, usually we're laying on our back, looking more or less 'up' -- and the horizon is usually more or less blocked by trees or landscape. so we don't think of the extreme left & right of our vision as 'down' so much, because of our orientation, and we don't see trails on the horizon as easily, both because of obstruction and because any light pollution is typically worse on the horizon, where that light is coming from.

but sure, i've seen many meteorites whose trails started near the horizon and ended towards the zenith. way too many to count.

maybe you should go outside and watch a meteor shower yourself -- because i don't know where you get this accusation, but it's certainly not from personal observation.

here's a time-lapse photo from an amateur astronomer of some Leonid meteorites:

PTLeo50-08x.jpg

see how they emanate from a point ((in Leo)) ?
and how roughly half of them are going 'up' as you describe it?

the spherical earth orbiting the sun and tilted at an angle to the orbital plane, passing through orbiting comet dust perfectly matches observation, and observation once again contradicts your unsubstantiated claims.

and how is this observation accounted for if the earth is flat?
not even the star trails in the time-lapse can be accounted for in this great deception ya'll are proselytes of.

the Perseid meteor shower is coming up, August 12. i suggest you go outside and see it for yourself. best viewing is from midnight till dawn.
of course, meteors pass every night. you don't have to wait.
but then, the sun sets every night and rises every morning - and you deny that - so why should i expect you to sit outside for hours watching the sky for meteors? ;)

I do not know, if somebody already answered this, but I did not see it.

1. How can be sunset or sunrise (sun and light disappearing behind the horizon) explained from a flat earth perspective?

2. Also, how can it explain the most hot areas like middle east/africa, roughly in the middle of continents, then colder and colder?

3. Also, how can the difference in light/darkness be explained like daily cycle in the Central Europe where I live vs much longer in not so far away (in Denmark)?

4. Also, when you say its antichristian conspiracy, there are 2 billions of Christian, working in various places, some certainly in space agencies, meteo stations, pilots, some were even astronauts... they are lying to us too?

5. Varying Star Constellations - star constellations differ according to time and place we are looking at them from. They are different to you than to me and they are different now and in winter.. why?

6. I suppose you do not believe that some probes or even vehicles got to other planets so I do not have to post pictures of Sun from Mars, etc right...?

Explain, please, how those in the high southern latitudes perceive the sun south of their locations in summer mornings and evenings.

Because it is? High southern latitudes isn't specific, and if you mean there summer which is our winter the sun is orbiting around the orange circle during that time, as you can see most would perceive it south of their location.

How can there be summers and winters if we are not getting near and far away from the sun?

We are getting nearer and further away from the sun, that is what is represented in this diagram

Gary, i've probably given you links to what you claim you've never been shown at least a dozen times.

which makes you a liar when you say you're "
still waiting"

which is why i say i feel like i can't trust anything you say. that's a statement i don't make flippantly: it's based on years of interaction with you and years of your flat-out denial of everything that's been more than adequately demonstrated and explained to you. if i ignore the great weight of all your false testimony, i'm stupid.

what is a person supposed to show you, when you by default immediately accuse all evidence contrary to your position of being fake?

you find yourself in a pretty similar position to our sitting president: proclaiming that any news that isn't good for you is fake, not on the basis of whether it is actually true or not, but solely on the basis that it contradicts your own irrational views.

so for the eleventy-senventh time,

real-time, HD images of the entire planet are taken every few minutes by the Japanese weather satellite Himawari. Himawari-8 is not the only weather satellite out there doing this - the US owns and operates the GOES-R system which does the same thing.

here's yet another link to live Himawari data, including a great wealth of the images you falsely claim don't exist.

RAMMB: RAMSDIS Online - Himawari-8 Imagery

so please stop lying, saying you've never been shown such things.
prolific lying is a really terrible witness of the truth.

now i know, you will say, "
this has to do with space therefore it is an enormous conspiratorial lie" -- which is absolute evidence again that this whole thread belongs in the conspiracy forum, not in Bible discussion -- but your reaction is willful blindness. you claim to "stick to the facts" but you deny any facts you don't like by waving your hands in the air. if you deny the fact of weather observation systems, then you are also calling every weather forecast & image on the whole planet a contrived lie -- so if you are wise, you may ask yourself why they are all so accurate and so prolific?

Well, it looks like scientists continue to hang out at the edge of the world, in Antarctica, and haven't fallen off the earth. Or sent back pictures of the edge, probably because there are none.

Here is an article on what is going with the ice shelf, in Antarctica.

Iceberg A68: Massive berg breaks from Larsen C ice shelf in Antarctica | CTV News

"A massive iceberg -- bigger than all of Prince Edward Island -- has broken away from an ice shelf in the Antarctic, British scientists have announced.
The 1-trillion tonne ice chunk is one of the largest icebergs ever to “calve” off the Antarctic ice shield, and has a volume twice that of Lake Erie.
Scientists from Swansea and Aberystwyth universities in Wales have been monitoring the Larsen C ice shelf on the Antarctic Peninsula, where a large crack had grown over the last year.

They announced Wednesday on their Project MIDAS blogthat it appears the iceberg calved sometime between July 10 and 12. The final breakthrough was detected in images from NASA’s satellite instruments, they said.
“The calving of this iceberg leaves the Larsen C Ice Shelf reduced in area by more than 12 per cent, and the landscape of the Antarctic Peninsula changed forever,” they wrote.

The researchers say that because it was already floating before it calved away, the iceberg will have no immediate impact on sea level, much the way the melting of an ice cube doesn’t affect the volume of a drink.
But the group says the calving could now destabilize the entire ice shelf. In fact, it may follow the example of its smaller neighbour Larsen B, which completely disintegrated in 2002 following a similar calving.
The concern is that because ice shelves buttress the grounded ice behind them, when they collapse, the ice behind them accelerates toward the ocean, where it can add to sea level rise.
Prof. Adrian Luckman, the lead investigator of the MIDAS project, wrote on the blog that in the next few months and years, the ice shelf could either gradually regrow, “or may suffer further calving events which may eventually lead to collapse.”
He says the scientific community is divided on its predictions about what might happen.
“Our models say it will be less stable, but any future collapse remains years or decades away,” he wrote.
Larsen C is the fourth largest ice shelf in Antarctica and is slightly bigger than Nova Scotia."

So much for being an edge to a flat earth!

Flat earth theory doesn't state there is an edge to the earth you can fall off, no flat earthers on this forum or anywhere state there is an edge you can fall off, this is you creating this idea based off of the little to nothing you know about flat earth theory and then criticizing it.

I find it odd that a handful of people claim they have greater wisdom AND knowledge then all the earths scientists put together.

Your diagram does not work. It is always hot and sunny in Australia, Africa etc. It simply does not match your picture.

Ok, you are revealing how little you know about flat earth theory, which is good because I can educate you.

The line you drew doesn't represent when the sun is "invisible" (actually correct wording is "not visible", that line is when the sun is visible and we experience day. When the sun orbits over to asia and europe, that is when we experience night, and vice versa when the sun is oribiting north america europe and asia experience night.

During the winter months, when it is at the orange circle, we experience day when it is oribiting the left side of the circle and night when it is on the right, and we have less daytime and more night during this period because the sun is further out and less light reaches us.

Respond to me directly instead of making incorrect statements overtop of images I post.

lol
i dont claim to be wise

but if someone offered me

all the worldly wisdom
of all earths scientists put together

or a nice cold bottle of water

...

im takin the water since it has value to me
You use knowledge to operate a computer
Scientists use it to make medicine and apparatuses that heal people. It is useful since it means less people die than if all you offer the sick man is that bottle of water

"In the month of June, the average daytime temperatures are generally around 14°C in the city while the average high temperature can reach 18°C on the warmest days. Sydney never gets too cold, even in the winter. Average minimum temperatures generally tend to be around 10°C."

It's not "always hot and sunny" the temperatures vary in correspondence with the diagram. The sun never gets that far away from Australia and it's orbit is directly over it during our spring, fall, and winter. Compared to North America where it is only directly over it during our summer. However, in southern areas like Florida in North America, It stays warm year round do to the proximity to the sun's orbit.

Same goes for Africa, the Sun's orbit is always over the continent regardless of the time of year.

Worldly wisdom is that your ancestors from an ape, do you believe this?
