Anyone here going to say we may freely break the law, that is sin because we live in grace by the Blood of Jesus Christ?

If we deliberately sin we continue to crucify Him. Is this what the grace people are saying when they say the law, which cescribes sin, is obsolete??

Do not be so foolish as to believe just because we cannot be perfect as Jesus is we may forget to obey.

This is NOT working for our salvation, that is free, it is respecting the suffering for each of us to be saved by Grace by Jesus on the cross.

People who know this and yet say we are free of obeying the law because of grace are either crazy ignorant of just misinformed.

Do not tell anyone ont to obey God for Jesus Christ is our Example and to not obey God is calling Jesus Christ's Example and teaching a lie.

Be children of obedience and obey as well as you are given, you are forgiven when you slip always as long as you live in grace, but do not call our Savior worthy of more suffering by promoting sin. Sin is breaking the law.

We are fee of the sting of dath, the power of teh law, and when we know all the truth we are totally free.

Stop calling Jesus a fraud by changing His teaching.
You've always been free of obeying the law.

You've never obeyed it, nor were you ever able.

Only in Christ are you able to see a glimpse of what obedience is. And yet you refuse and insist on your own work and "obedience".

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.Do you not understand what these scriptures are saying?

You can choose to be Gods Workmanship or you can refuse His Grace, like the children of disobedience in the desert, and work at the law.

That's what you get when you reject Gods Grace. You get the law and all the judgement that goes along with it.

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

The truth is that there is One Way to Righteousness. There is One Way to Salvation. There is One Way to Obedience. There is One Way to Perfection.

Its not by your work or understanding.

It is by the Lord Jesus Christ.

There's no 'higher' way. It's not by faith + Judaism.

Who is going to teach that beliving Jesus Christ does not mean to do as He teaches, and follow His Example?

Jesus Christ has invited all to learn of Him, because He, the Only Authority, is easy, while people are difficult weighing heavy burdens on others they will not lift a finger to perform themselves?

To teach agains obedience is teaching the recrucifiexion of our Savior. To say the law is abolished and not completed is calling Him a fraud, a liar.

No we cannot be perfect, that is what our Savior has accomplised for us, but the least any of us can do is attmpt to be just like He....... say this is wrong! Say this is earning salvation, and I say, whoever you may be you are ignorant or working for Satan.

Thanks for that .

It’s when men try and divide the law of God as the traditions of God from the same perfect law of God that many are led to their conclusions. In that way ,what God has joined together let no man call seperate. The one who does call seperate would be the antichrist it his motive of operation calling that seperate which God calls togther and the father of lies calls that together in which God calls seperate . The upside down god of this world. It is how the law of men as commandments or traditions of men came about, making the law of God in respect to His traditions to no effect. The Law of Moses is the law of God. The words of God that he puts on the lips of men are law. Some pit the law of God against the law, like James pitied against Paul The whole bible is the perfect law of God.(no theories)His word is law. It is though the written law the letter that kills that we can understand the law of faith that saves in respect to the faith of Christ, the faith of God . He alone is the author and finisher. By and through His perfect or complete law which is not lacking the authority to work in us.. it does the work of converting our soul. His testimony is sure freely giving us simply ones His (not seen) understanding (the faith law). The prescriptions as scripture of the LORD are true, the water of the word softening the heart, enlightening the eyes of our new born again hearts. By the perfect law He warns His children, in guarding his commandment with all our new heart soul and mind there is great reward knowing it is Christ who works in us to both will and perform his good pleasure as a imputed righteousness
Hi garee, thanks for your message. (Please take the time to read this it is important)

Please consider ALL the scriptures provided with this post as they are the basis behind everything provided here. It seems that there is a problem in your interpretation of God's Law and the laws of Moses. There were always held separate from each other in the Old Covenant. Please consider the following and all the scriptures provided as to why the Law of God is different to the Book and laws of Moses.

God's Law (the 10 commandments) and the laws of Moses (Levitical, sacrificial, ceremonial, ordinances, civil etc) which were Shadows of things to come. Gods Law (the 10 commandments) is the very foundation of all of God's Word in the Old and the New Testament. It is the foundation of both the Old Covenant and the New Covenant (Ex 20:1:17; Eze 36:26-27; Jer 31:31-34; Heb 8:8-10; 10:10-12) God's Law (the 10 commandments) are not the same with the laws of Moses which were written in a book and were a Shadow of things to come (Jesus).

The Law of God (10 commandments) is the very foundation of both the Old and the New Covenants because it reveals to us the character of God and gives us the knowledge of what sin is if we break any of God's Laws (Ex 20:1-17; 1John 3:4; Rom 3:20). The purpose of God's Law is to show us that we are all guilty before God as sinners in need of a Saviour to prepare us to meet Jesus so that he can save us from our sins so that we can follow Him in newness of life (Gal 3:24).

Just as in the New Covenant the Law of God shows the standard of God's righteousness it does not provide a way of bringing us back to God whenever we should sin. This was the reason for the laws of Moses in the Old Covenant. When any person sinned (broke any of God's 10 commandments) the laws of Moses (Levitical animal, meat, drink offerings, ceremonial, ecclesiastical, New Moons, holy days) provided a means of obtaining forgiveness of sin. The book of Moses (also called "Torah" in Hebrew and "Pentateuch from the Greek" is the first five books of the Bible Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy written by Moses) This was given by God to Moses to;

1. Provide the history of the 7 Day week of the creation of all things and the Creator (Genesis)
2. Provide the history of the fall of mankind into sin and our destruction because of sin with a great flood (Genesis)
3. Provide the history of God’s faithful people that followed God through this period (the minority Genesis and Exodos).

4. Provide the history of God’s covenant to Abraham and his seed because they obeyed God through faith and how God worked through his chosen people (Genesis and Exodus)

5. Provide history of the oppression of Gods people from those that do not follow God (Exodus)
6. Provide history of the deliverance of God’s people from oppression (Exodus)
7. Provide history of how God gave His Law (10 commandments) to his people which was spoken by God, written by God on two tables of stone from Sinai. (Exodus)

8. Provide a description of the plan of salvation from sin revealed through the Priestly Sanctuary service, ceremonial laws and animal sacrificial system that include lessons from feast and holy days, new moons and ceremonial Sabbaths connected to these feasts (e.g. The Passover, Day of Atonement, Feast of Trumpets etc.) that all point to the coming of Jesus as the Saviour of the world. (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy)

9. The rest of the Book of Moses (Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) outlines laws of Moses that are related to (the sanctuary service, ceremonial laws, ordinances, annual New Moons and feasts days civil and health laws etc).

The Book of Moses (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) is based around God’s 10 commandments but is not God’s 10 commandments. It describes what the 10 commandment are, how they were given and provides the background as to why God’s Law was given as well as providing a prescription if God’s people should sin and break any of his 10 commandments through the Sanctuary service, ceremonial laws and sacrificial animal systems, Feast days, Holy Days, New Moons and ceremonial Sabbaths etc. which were a shadow of things to come (Col 2:16-17, Heb 10:1, Eph 2:14) and pointed to Jesus as our sacrifice and great high priest. The Torah (Book of Moses) is not the Law of God but a background to WHY it was given. It was placed in the side of the “Ark of the Covenant” but not inside the Ark of the Covenant with the 10 commandments. The Torah or Book of Moses is complimentary to God’s Law but is not God’s Law. The book or laws of Moses was to reveal God's plan of salvation from sin pointing to the coming of Jesus.

God's Law (10 commandments) are the foundation of the Old and New Covenants which can only be kept by faith in the promises of God's Word as it leads us to the foot of the cross. This is where God writes His Law of love in our hearts as we walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. (Rom 8:1)

The Law of God (10 commandments) is the work of God (Ex 32:16) whatsoever God does is forever nothing can be added to it or taken away (Ecc 3:14). God's Law is perfect converting the soul (Ps 19:7). It is the very foundation of the Old and New Covenants (Ex 20:1:17, Heb 8:10-12). God's Law was spoken by God himself to His people (Ex 20:1-22). Jesus says Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matt 25:35). Gods Law is still in force today (Ps 111:7-8, Rev 12:17, 14:12, 22:14, 1John 3:5-8, 1John 2:3-4 etc.). The Law of God reveals sin to us so we can see ourselves as we truly are sinners in need of a Saviour (Rom 3:20; 1John 3:4). It is the great standard of the judgement (Ecc 12:13-14, James 2:10-12, 1John 3:4, Acts 17:31). God's Law is our teacher revealing sin and the character of God and brings us to Christ at the foot of the cross that we might be saved by faith by Him who loves us and washed us in His own blood (Gal 3:24; Rev 1:5). God writes His Law in our hearts so that we become like him and we follow him because we love him (Heb 8:10-12; ) LOVE is the fulfilling (doing) of God's Law (Rom 13:10). This is why Jesus says to those that love him If you love me keep my commandments (John 14:15).

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Matt 5:17-18)

The fulfilling of the God's Law in us who walk not after the flesh (carnal mind = sin) but after the Spirit (new mind with God's Law written on the heart) (Rom 8:1). That the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled IN US who walk not after the flesh (carnal mind = sin) but after the spirit (Rom 8:4; 6). Salvation is God fulfilling his Law in us saving us from sin. Finally the result of God's salvation can be seen as " Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus (Rev 14:12). God's people with the character of Jesus saved by faith through love.

So you should be able to see that the God's Law (10 commandments) are not the laws of Moses that where a Shadow of things to come. God's Law is foever (3:14) because it is the work of God himself and he wants to fulfill it in us (the plan of salvation) Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:34-36)

The above is mostly God's Word. Take your time to see what it is saying and I hope it help anyone wanting to follow Jesus.

God bless you

You really are pushing straw-man arguments aren't you:
Accusations that people are trying to replace the Sabbath with Sunday worship - puleez!
Now, the accusation that because we under grace that we will commit any sin that we feel like - also a big fat raspberry!

These two arguments are the only fallbacks that legalists have and they are beyond weak....they are non-existent!

Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.

Heb 4:9

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,

The writer of Hebrews is speaking to Jewish Christians who know that the nation of Israel is their promised land. Joshua brought them into it. He is saying that there is another rest through Jesus and it's not land on earth.

It's heaven.

~
Heb 4:9 There remainethG620 thereforeG686 a restG4520 to theG3588 peopleG2992 of God.G2316

rest:

G4520
σαββατισμός
sabbatismos
sab-bat-is-mos'
From a derivative of G4521; a "sabbatism", that is, (figuratively) the repose of Christianity (as a type of heaven): - rest.
Total KJV occurrences: 1

G4521
σάββατον
sabbaton
sab'-bat-on
Of Hebrew origin [H7676]; the Sabbath (that is, Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension a se'nnight, that is, the interval between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications: - sabbath (day), week.
Total KJV occurrences: 68

Heb 4:14 Having, therefore, a great high priest who penetrated the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast this profession of our hope.

Jesus is the way to our Sabbath rest with Father in our midst.

There is no law of God and law of Moses.
The table above is a false construction.

I will provide a comprehensive debunking of this myth as soon as I have completed it.

Hello garee,

Hi LoveGodForever Clearly does what? Draw us to him in whom we do rest in? Other than the verse that you say does not say when it clearly does, do you need more than one?? or are you looking for one verbatim in those exact words... “Jesus is our Sabbath”? No one said the Sabbath is done away with. Who is your Sabbath as to who you rest in when you do not harden your heart if not Jesus? Do you rest in your own works by hardening your heart? Who gives you rest… some work you can perform ? Yes in unbelief they harden their hearts not desiring to rest in Christ, our Sabbath. If Jesus is not our savior in whom we rest , who is our Sabbath? Did someone else do the work? Yes he is our rest
Sorry garee, I must follow God's Word. I believe Gods Word. There is not one bible verse that says that Jesus is our Sabbath this is a made up interpretation of Gods Word to try to get out of obeying what God requires of us. There is no scripture that says tht Jesus is the Sabbath. However the Word of God clearly tells is that the Sabbath is a Day which was made by God himself and he rested on the 7th Day of the Week and he wants His people to rest on this day (Ex 20:8-11) The 7th Day Sabbath has it's origin in the creation week (Gen 2:1-3) and God himself asked His people to follow obey it (Ex 20:8-11). If we break any of God's commandments we commit sin (1John 3:4). Do you believe God's Word garee? If you do you should follow what God Word says.

We are not to judge one another in respect to ceremonial shadow as a law, they are not moral laws they govern ceremonies used as shadows. The time of reformation has come. Yes he is my Sabbath a rest term not to be confused with time sensitive words like the word week. The Word is Sabbaths plural not wek singular. The Greeks had no word for week . They would use the term seven days not seven Sabbaths.
See my post 1743 and 1745 written today for you. I think those post will help you to understand what the Shadows are in the laws of Moses.

The word Wednesday in German means mid week, not mid Sabbath… confusing time sensitive words with non time sensitive words a person can make the word of God say what ever they want. Every time we do not harden our heart we have entered his rest. Morning, day noon and night. Today is still called today. The Sun and the moon have not departed. The literal translation seems to have been overlooked by some over zealous paraphrasers that did not know what to do with the new era of Sabbaths beginning on the first day of week, Sunday, the day He said let their be children of light and there was.Matthew 28Young's Literal Translation (YLT) 28 And on the eve of the sabbaths, at the dawn, toward the first of the sabbaths, came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre, They used the word week an non Greek word like that in other locations also to trying to maintain the seventh day for some odd reason or other..Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. Its twice in the Sabbath .The Pharisees's kosher oral tradition of men was three meals on the Sabbath .The man simply had a empty boast as if he was the Lord of he Sabbath, the person we rest in.
garee, you may need to read Lev 23 this will help you in your interpretation of what you have said above a lot better. These are talking about ceremonial feast days, New Moons connected to annual high Sabbath feast days that could fall on any day of the week in relation to the beginning and ending of a feast in Lev 23. These were all shadows pointing to Jesus. If you want detailed scripture on this subject please see posts 1160, 1166, 1168, 1209, 1218 and especially 1369.

We must live by EVERY Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. God's 7th Day Sabbath is a Day and spoken by God himself which he asks us to keep holy and rest with Him (Ex 20:8-11) if we break this commandment we commit sin because sin is the transgression of God's Law (1John 3:4). If you love Jesus. He asks us to follow him by faith because we love him. Jesus says if you love me keep my commandments.

God bless

Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.

Heb 4:9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,
The writer of Hebrews is speaking to Jewish Christians who know that the nation of Israel is their promised land. Joshua brought them into it. He is saying that there is another rest through Jesus and it's not land on earth. It's heaven.~

G4520

From a derivative of G4521; a "sabbatism", that is, (figuratively) the repose of Christianity (as a type of heaven): - rest.

G4521
σάββατον

Of Hebrew origin [H7676]; the Sabbath (that is, Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension a se'nnight, that is, the interval between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications: - sabbath (day), week.

Jesus is the way to our Sabbath rest with Father in our midst.
Hello Stonefire,

Nice to meet you friend how are you? Lovely scriptures from God's Word but they do not say that we no longer need to keep God's 7th Day Sabbath Holy as God commanded us from His Word does it? Nor does it say that we should keep Sunday in place of the Word of God does it?

Hebrews 4 is a great chapter. Did you know however that this chapter is referring to God’s 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath rest? Heb 4:1-4 is the context of this chapter. It says this also in verse 9. Let’s look at the context….

1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. (If you do not believe God's Word you do not have rest)
9 There remaineth therefore a "rest" to the people of God.

Please go and look at the Greek meaning of the word "rest" used in Heb 4:9 it its meaning is keeping of a Sabbath or Sabbath observance.

“There remaineth therefore a [Sabbath] rest [SUP]4520[/SUP] to the people of God.” (NAS; Heb 4:9)

The Greek word literally means “Sabbath keeping” or “Sabbath observance.

Strong's Concordance
sabbatismos: a sabbath rest
Original Word: σαββατισμός, οῦ, ὁ
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: sabbatismos
Phonetic Spelling: (sab-bat-is-mos')
Short Definition: a Sabbath rest
Definition: a keeping of the Sabbath, a Sabbath rest.
Englishman's Concordance

Strong's Greek 4520

σαββατισμὸς — 1 Occ.
Hebrews 4:9 N-NMS
GRK: ἄρα ἀπολείπεται σαββατισμὸς τῷ λαῷ
NAS: there remains a Sabbath rest for the people
KJV: therefore a rest to the people
INT: Then remains a sabbath rest to the people

Those that did not enter into God’s rest (7th Day Sabbath) did not enter in because of their unbelief and disobedience (sins). This is a warning to us today.

Hope this is helpful.

God bless you

It's all about the earthly realm that you are speaking about. Jesus has brought the new and Living way. The Spiritual realm. Ruling over our own flesh, the world spirit, and the enemy. Just as Israel fought their enemies until they came into their own land, so we are engaged in spiritual battles, with spiritual armor and the Sword of truth until we enter the heavenly realm.

You can celebrate the feasts, that symbolize Jesus, follow laws for outward good, and be a Saturday sabbath keeper if you like. But, none of these things will be of the inheritance that Jesus has left for His body.

The things His body inherited are to equip us to walk as He walked. He fulfilled all the requirements of the Jewish way, to usher in another.

Why stay behind caught in the old thats vanishing?

Oh, and nice to meet you too. I can be too direct and fail somewhat in good manners. :)

Hi LoveGodForever

To begin with there is no good reason why a person wouldeen desire to separate the perfect law of God from the perfect law of God.

The whole Bible is the law of God, written by the finger of God as he moved the holy men of old to make himself who has no form know. The Bible contains no laws as commandments of men written after the mind and heart of men it is God’s book, not a book of theories after the philosophies of men called fathers.

The apostle Moses like any apostle was moved and sent by the same Spirit of Christ’s faith according as it is written that worked as the heart of the law and the prophets (His heart). They are two witnesses that will stand on the last day . It would appear you are promoting what the scripture calls the “law of the fathers” the same kind of law the Catholics follow after.

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Colossians 2:22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

The Sabbath law in not a moral law. It governs ceriominies that use shadows
. Those shadows were used to preach the gospel to the Old testement saints in whom the Spirit of Christ dwelt it pointed to our suffering savor and the glory that came (the graves were opened ) We look back to that same glorious day(it is finshed) by the same Spirit of faith according as it is written .God puts no differnce betwen a Jew and a Gentile purfyiing all hearts by a work of His faith or labor of His love

There is no law we can perform outwardly that would give us the proof we have the Spirit of Christ. We continue to walk by faith all the days of our lives having not received the promise our new bodies that will be neither Jew nor Gentile .

Again we walk by the faith of Christ and are commanded not have His faith in respect to any man .to include Moses.

This includes the ceremonial circumcision, the Sabbaths, the water baptisms and even the new ceremonial law that came because of the reformation .called the breaking of bread drinking of the blood of grapes

The Jew sought after one as a sign in a hope they had the Spirit of Christ the Holy Spirit of God because of some action they performed .

Christ called them who did require a sign they could perform an evil generation (the generation of Adam natural man) . Natural man has no other course other than to walk by sight. They do not have the Spirit of Christ needed to understand the spiritual things of God that he hides in His parables. If nay man has not the Spirit of Christ they simply do not belong to Him

Can’t divide the law of God from the law of God… its all one law given in one book of the law.(not Mosses’ law or that of Peter, Paul and Mary .

Hebrews 8:7-10 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second.

[SUP]8 [/SUP] For finding fault with them, He says, "BEHOLD, DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL EFFECT A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH;

[SUP]9 [/SUP] NOT LIKE THE COVENANT WHICH I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS ON THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; FOR THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DID NOT CARE FOR THEM, SAYS THE LORD.

[SUP]10 [/SUP] "FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MINDS, AND I WILL WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS. AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

God said that He would make a New Covenant - NOT LIKE the one He made on Mount Sinai which included all the 10 commandments - of which the Sabbath day keeping was one of them to foreshadow the reality that is in Christ.

The law that God puts on our hearts in the New Covenant ( which is NOT LIKE the Old one ) is the law of Christ Himself, the law of love, the law of faith ( The law is NOT of faith )
- the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Going back to the law is committing spiritual adultery on the Lord Jesus Christ. We have died to the law, been released from the law and we are not under the law in any shape or form.

Why? "So that" we could be joined to Another ( Christ Himself ) and that we would bear fruit for God. The only bearing of real fruit to God is when Christians live in Christ and not from the law.

Romans 7:4 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

This post above shows that the 10 commandments were part of the Old Covenant given to Moses in Sinai and God said that He was going to make a New Covenant - which is NOT LIKE the Old one which God made with the Jews.

The law of Moses has the 10 commandments in it no matter how people try to say it isn't. There is an agenda here and a "reason" why they say that.

We will give you from Friday night until Saturday to figure it out...
:)

There is no such thing as breaking apart the Old Covenant to try to make it seem as if we live by one part but not the other. James says - If we break one - we are guilty of it all. Paul says if we "do the law " then we are debtors to 'do the whole law."

YOu have certainly turned the meaning of the post into your pleasure.... Never do I mention Sunday or Sabbath WORSHIP. I see you have assumed you are accused....not to worry, you are not. My post is a general share of understandign.

To the hard headedd and hard hearted.

Do not confuse the sharing of understanding of the order of creation with demand that worship of God be a specific day. We who love Jesus worship God every day.

God made His Sabbath on the Seventh day, and no other. Do you even know what that means ( I speak to those detractors of truth. )=

John 4

21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Friends as always read all of the chapter to see I'm not trying to mislead you with part Truth....

The Sabbath day rest belongs to GOD.. our Messiah is Lord of Sabbath.

Let each man Keep Sabbath Holy to Heavenly Father and our Lord and Saviour.

Our hearts and intentions be searched.

Many will ill say they rest in the Messiah which is True... but the same Messiah that we rest in Taught us to Keep the Sabbath Commandment through His Testimony...

Over time the message became distorted by men as it did in past times..... we witness a verse that is referring to the law of Moses being used to have one believe that Keeping the Sabbath is working for Salvation and somehow those that Love the Father and His Son prefer the Old Testament... which can not be so if we adhere to the Messiah's Testimony. Beware of those that preach outward circumcision... they are bewitching... because it is written that it does not profit a man.

Our Lord and Saviour warns us that our righteousness must exceed that of the Scribes and Pharisees or we enter not into the kingdom of heaven... (read Matthew 5 for Truth)

Fear GOD and refrain from teaching against His Commandments and leave those that Love Him to do what they were told to do.

Anyone found making rules up to govern men on Sabbath to exalt themselves will be dealt with. Let each man Rest to Heavenly Father.. do not judge what you know not.

Separating between laws is what GOD does - not man. HE puts difference between holy and unholy Lev10v10, between spiritual laws which are eternal, holy, just and good -- and works/ordinances of law which are temporary.
When GOD gave the Commandments at Sinai He STOPPED after giving the 10 and added no more (when directly speaking to the people Deut 5v22-27) the rest of the commandments were given through Moses, because the people REFUSED to hear God any more.
Why are you still refusing to hear GOD today - who personally gave the 10 Commandments making them HIS eternal laws ? Why would anyone not want to love God and neighbour - always ???

Hi garee,

Nice to see you again. Thanks for your message. Please see the comments added to your post below.

God's Word says that the Bible is written by men as they were inspired by God (2Tim 3:16-17; 2Pet 1:20-21; 1Cor 2:12-13; 2Cor 13:3; 2Thess 2:13;John 17:17; John 6:63 etc.). It is the Word of God written in a book. The foundation of God's Word is God's Law. The whole bible is NOT the Law of God written by the finger of God. It was written by men as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (2Pet 1:20-21). The book and laws of Moses (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) were also written by Moses (Deut 31:9; Ex 24:4) in a book (Deut 31:24). God's Law (10 commandments) were the only Laws in the Bible that were written with God's own finger (Ex 31:18, 32:16) and spoken by God himself to His people (Ex 20:1-22). If you read any of my posts above you would know this already. Can you see these scriptures do not agree with what you have just claimed above? Our opinions do not matter. Only God's Word is true. I hope you can see that.

I am not promoting anything accept the Word of God nothing more and nothing less. In all my posts you will see I only point people to the Word of God and nothing else because I must decrease and he must increase. It is only in the Word of God that we find Jesus because He is the Word (John 1:1-4) and you can know the truth and the truth can make you free (John 8:32) Jesus promises us.. If you continue in my Word you are my disciples (John 8:31). We can only know God's truth from His Word as we seek it and there asking Jesus.

None of God's Law (10 commandments) are the commandments of men. These are the commandments of God. Jesus says we make the Word of God of none effect if we follow the traditions of man....

"He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. (Mar 7:6)

"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (Mar 7:7)

"For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do." (Mar 7:8)

"And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition." (Mar 7:9)

"For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death. (Mar 7:10)

"But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free." (Mar 7:11)

"And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother. (Mar 7:12)

"Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye." (Mar 7:13)

Either we believe God or we don't, but whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Gods 7th Day Sabbath is God's Law written and spoken by God himself to His people. Sunday worship is a man made tradition that the Church is substituting in place of the commandments of God. Do you believe God garee?

The Sabbath law in not a moral law. It governs ceriominies that use shadows. Those shadows were used to preach the gospel to the Old testement saints in whom the Spirit of Christ dwelt it pointed to our suffering savor and the glory that came (the graves were opened ) We look back to that same glorious day(it is finshed) by the same Spirit of faith according as it is written .God puts no differnce betwen a Jew and a Gentile purfyiing all hearts by a work of His faith or labor of His love There is no law we can perform outwardly that would give us the proof we have the Spirit of Christ. Can’t divide the law of God from the law of God… its all one law given in one book of the law.(not Mosses’ law or that of Peter, Paul and Mary .

All of God's Law is to do with right and wrong behavior (Moral). God's 7th Day Sabbath commandment (Ex 20:8-11) is your duty towards God (1st 4 commandments found in Ex 20:1-11) so is indeed a moral law that shows the difference between right and wrong behavior against God and our fellow man.

The rest of the above I have already answered for you but you have closed your eyes and cant see God's Word. You can see what you have said above has been clearly answered in posts 1743, 1745, 1748; If you want more in depth 1160, 1166, 1168, 1209, 1218 and 1369). The choice is clear. We can choose to follow the teaching of men or the Word of God. Which will you follow?

If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John 12:47-48)

Grace777,

I really worry about you. You always like to cut and paste the same old things but do you really think they are biblical because you find them on some website that supports what you believe? We have had many conversations already. Why is there so many scriptures that go against your interpretation of God's Word? Does this not worry you and lead you to think that maybe your understanding of God's Word is not correct and that you could be building on sifting sand? All the scriptures in God's Word in both the Old and New Covenant are in harmony with each other. They both witness to each other. God's Word is perfect and does not contradict itself. If you find yourself in conflict with scriptures that are not according to your interpretation or understanding this should be a warning to you.

Would you like to talk about what you have just said above and share scriptures from God's Word? I will ask you some questions so I do not have any misunderstanding of what you are saying ok?

Who is a Jew in God's Word?

Who is Israel in God's Word?

What is the Old covenant ?

What is the New Covenant?

Your four questions should be answerable by just about any who believes Jesus Christ. Perhaps not inthe first steps of the walk given him, but after a mile or so it is evident. God bless you.........j
