Am I the only one annoyed by this?

She experienced similar issues you have when she joins places . It's not due to folks being friendly either . I join those places too and zip nada empty mail boxes ,her ? Just keep doing the smart thing and reject away . Get to know them first ( the best you can over the net ) .
I dislike being negative but too many twits ( could use other more accurate words ,but we are in mixed company) out there not to .

I do think it has something to do with the girl-thing, but not necessarily the age thing. When my avatars were teddy bears I get a what-in-the-world friend request about once every three months. This month my avatar is me, and I've received three so far. I'm a girl, but obviously not a young girl.

So, I need an avatar of a furious looking teddy bear? Do you think a teddy bear with a knife will do it?

Well l am new and l wouldn't think of sending friendship requests or messages until l got to know someone, but l might change my mind about that if l see too many furious teddy bear pictures!

If they were ninja or assassin teddy bears, I would DEFINITELY send a friend request. :D Think of how cool your own teddy bear army would be!

So... How about teddy bears holding a katana or nunchucks...

Consider yourself FRIENDED (capitals!!!)

I was nervous enough with the pumpkin cutting knife. lol
 
When someone I don't know sends a friend request, the first thing i do is click on their name and see what posts they've made (it says "see forum posts" or something like that). If they don't have any or if they're just posting spam, I deny the request. If they seem nice in their posts, I'll accept. And if they try to bribe me with chocolate.... :rolleyes:
